We have a new baby in the family! She was born a few weeks ago and of course she is beautiful and brilliant! We have not gotten to see her up close and personal but hope to soon. Just so there is no confusion she is my great (in so many ways) niece.
Here's the card I made. I tried to avoid using too much pink since not everyone is a fan of the color.
Stamps: Two by Two (this is a single stamp on page 60 of the main catalog) Ink: Black Stazon and lots of different Stampin' Write markers, Blender pen Paper:Very Vanilla, Primrose Petals, Pool Party, Watercolor paper, More Amore Specialty DSP Big Shot: Scallop Squares Duo Bigz die, Perfect Polka Dot folder Ribbon: Pool Party 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon, Dazzling Details
I also made a little scrapbook which I will share with you soon. I have another version of this card that I am posting to my facebook page. Hop on over and check it out!
I am always on the lookout for a good sentiment set and so you know I was excited to see theFeel Goods stamp set in the new Occasions catalog. It is a wonderful sentiment set and especially great this time of year. Many of us make resoultions, plans, goals, intentions, whatever you want to call them around the first of the year and this sentiment from the Feel Goods set is perfect.
It is just a great little reminder that whatever we have resolved to accomplish this year is indeed possible, I think I need to have a shadowbox in every room to remind me.

I am spending some time in my craft room today. It has been a while since I have actually stamped. Hope your day will include a little creative time and if it does, stamp something cute and be sure to tell me about it!
We are back from our Christmas travels. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's celebration. I tried to keep up with emails while we were gone and did a pretty good job until about New Year's Eve. I'm going to go through my inbox today and I am sorry for the delay. I plan to be all caught up by the end of the day. Thank you for your patience.
Today is the first day you can order from the new Occasions catalog. If you are like me it will be tough trying to decide what to order first! This catalog is jam packed with beautiful accesories, stamps, and dies. I know you are going to have so much fun using them.
Here's all the goodies I used to make this card. I have bolded and italicized the products that are from the Occasions catalog.

Happy 2013! Just one more day until you can order from the Occasions catalog! I hopeyou agree that the Occasions catalog is full of fantastic products. One of the standouts is the Bitty Butterfly punch. I love punches and when it coordinates with a stamp set then it is a definite must have. As you can probably tell from my past posts I have already used this little punch a lot. Today's project uses the Bitty Butterfly punch AND a sneak peek at the Sycamore Street DSP (Designer Series paper) which is one of the choices you can receive for free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration!
Stamps: Pursuit of Happiness, Papillon Potpourri Ink: Island Indigo Paper: Island Indigo, Pool Party, Sycamore Street DSP, In Color Patterns pack Punches: 2-1/2" Circle, Bitty Butterfly, Elegant Butterfly Extras: Dazzling Details
Here's another color and pattern combination.
The only difference in the supplies is the Rich Razzleberry cards stock and ink, Brights Patterns DSP stack.
Sale-A-Bration starts on January 22 and ends March 22. It is really one of the great times in the Stampin Up year! If you would like to schedule a private class, party, catalog party, really any kind of stamping event be sure to contact me quickly so we can get it scheduled!
Do you ask yourself, do I really need another flower set? What makes this floral set special? Well, I am going to tell you why I bought the Secret Garden Bundle ( stamp set and framelits at a 15% savings!) I think this is a really great floral set. In the set there are 3 line floral images and 2 bold floral images. This automaticaly makes it more versatile. Somedays I like to color and practice different coloring techniques and then there are times I want to make something quick and bold so with this set you have both of those options. The other big reason is that there is a framelit that cuts out all the flowers for you and the leaf image. I don't mind doing some fussy cutting but given a choice I would much rather have a die or punch. When you purchase both the stamp set and the Framelits (Secret Garden Bundle) you will get 15% savings.
Stamps: Feel Goods,Secret Garden, Papillon Potpourri Ink: Black Stazon, Baja Breeze,Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Rose Red , Old Olive Paper: Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Twitterpated DSP, Watercolor paper Punches: Bitty Butterfly (must have) Big Shot: Secret Garden Framelits Extras: Dazzling Details, Blender pen
I love this saying and I know I will put it to good use. There are a lot of occasions that this would be just the perfect sentiment.
This new Bitty Butterfly punch is my favorite. I love how it coordinates with the Papillon Potpourri stamp set. I just realized that this card also is a mailable card.
If you haven't received a copy of the Occasions catalog and you do not have a Stampin Up Demonstrator let me know and I would be happy to send you one.

It is time. Time to
get everything tidied up and crossed off the list. Time to write those thank you notes! I have done the fun part of making the cards
but need to get them written and in the mail.
Of course you knew I would have to sneak the Bitty Butterfly
on the card but I also included a few other things that I got to pre-order from
the Occasion catalog. Yes, it is a perk
of being a demonstrator after all who doesn’t like to be among the first to
play with new stamps and accessories?
Here’s the rundown of what I used.
Stamps: Papillon Potpourri, Beyond Plaid, Secret Garden Ink: Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Black Stazon Paper: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Melon Mambo, Sunshine and Sprinkles DSP Punches: Bitty Butterfly, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack Big Shot: Perfect Polka Dot DSP Accessories: Pearls. Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon
If you have ever thought about becoming a Stampin Up demonstrator 2013 just might be the year for you to join. It cannot hurt to at least think about it and if you have any questions about what it entails or what you need to do, send me an email and let's chat! Enough said, I am now signing off to work on writing my thank you cards. See ya tomorrow!
Did you go out and brave the crowds yesterday? Good for you whatever you did! I have a quick and easy card for you to help ease
back into the craft room. I am using a few products, 3 to be exact from
the Occasions catalog that you can order from starting in just about a
week. I will try not to say it too often
but I totally love the Bitty Butterfly punch.
I know what is there not to love?
It is small, cute and it punches out a stamped image, enough said.
The DSP (designer series paper) is called Sunshine and Sprinkles. I love the bright, happy colors and patterns which
will really help during our rainy and gray winter. Isn’t it great, it can be dark and gloomy outside
and all Sunshine and Sprinkles in the craft room!
I am sure you spotted the third sneak peek item...Melon Mambo Striped Organdy Ribbon! Yes, it is yummy and also comes in Marina Mist and Old Olive. Watch for a Ribbon Share once the Occasions Catalog goes live.
That is it for today but I have more coming up so check back or better yet sign up to be a subscriber (it is free) and you will be notified every time the blog is updated. How do you do that? Just glance over to the left hand side of the blog and you will see an orange icon and next to it says "subscribe in a reader".
