Another Sycamore Street Pocket Card

Here's another pocket card made with the Sycamore Street DSP and the Vintage Verses stamp set.  You have just a few days left to take advantage of the fabulous Sale-A-Bration so don't delay.

I used one of the Paper Doilies from the Occasions Catalog to dress up the pocket.     I also used the Sycamore Street  Ribbon and Button bundle.

I love the button and In Color Polka Dot brad combination.  I shared with you how to cut out the design from the Sycamore Street DSP in the previous post-  Totally fun!  

Here's what the card looks like outside of the pocket. That is it for now.  I have been struggling with my allergies the past few days.  I love spring but all the pollen in the air is tough on me.

Sycamore Street DSP Pocket Card

I cut them out using the smallest framelit in the Floral  Frames Framelit!  When I saw this design in the Sycamore Street DSP pack I thought it looked familiar and was thrilled to figure out that you can cut the design out perfectly with the framelit!  Total bonus!

Here's the card outside of the Sycamore Street DSP pocket.  The sentiment is from the Blooming with Kindness stamp set.

I think the Patterned Occasions set is great!  It is an easy set to use and the images and sentiments cover all kinds of occasions.  I also have to tell you that I love  the Sycamore Street DSP.  I will definitely miss this pack of pattern paper.  There is a nice mix of patterns making it easy to make cards for everyone.

Feel Goods and the Challenge

Do you like a challenge?  I have been wanting to join in and participate in more stamping challenges and today I took some time and did.  The first one I did was the monthly challenge at Craft Project Central.    I stayed pretty true to the sketch.  Here's the sketch.

Patterned Occasions 3 x 3 Note Card Box Bonus

Sycamore Street Calendars

Happy 2013! Just one more day until you can order from the Occasions catalog!  I hopeyou agree that the Occasions catalog is full of fantastic products.   One of the standouts is the Bitty Butterfly punch.  I love punches and when it coordinates with a stamp set then it is a definite must have.    As you can probably tell from my past posts I have already used this little punch a lot.  Today's project uses the Bitty Butterfly punch AND a sneak peek at the Sycamore Street DSP (Designer Series paper) which is one of the choices you can receive for free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration!

A Challenging Week

I had so much fun doing the Craft Project Central Challenge that I decided I would do another challenge.  I found this layout on Technostamper's blog and thought it looked like a fun one to do.

I knew I wanted to use the Everyday Enchantment DSP (Sale-A-Bration) which made working on this sketch a little easier.  I plan to primarily focus on showing products from the Sale-A-Bration brochure until the end of Sale-A-Bration on March 31.  

I love the design on the Pool Party sheet in the Everyday Enchantment DSP.  It reminds me of those Aloha shirts made with the wrong side of the fabric showing.  Do you know what I mean?    Anyway, here's what I used to make this card.

Everyday Enchantment DSP Foldover Card

My fondness for the Everyday Enchantment DSP continues!  I will be sad when Sale-A-Bration is over and this lovely paper is no longer available.  I am just happy that the Summer Smooches paper will be available to purchase in April cause it just might help me get over the loss of the Everyday Enchantment paper.  

I am sure that this card style has a proper name but I just call it a foldover card.  Here are links to other foldover cards I have recently shared, here and here.

Clearly For You

Have I told you how much I like the Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper(DSP) Everyday Enchantment?  I am sure I have. One of the reasons is that I have a serious crush on Poppy Parade and it is a color prominent in this paper pack.  I am really going to miss this color when it retires at the end of May.   The 2010-2012 In Colors will be retiring and a new set of In Colors will be featured in the next catalog due out in June.  If you are going to miss any of the In Colors; Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzaz, Concord Crush, Blushing Bride, or Peach Parfait then you need to make sure to stock up on cardstock, DSP, ink refills, ribbon.

Fresh Vintage and Everyday Enchantment DSP

It is hard to believe that there is just  3 weeks left to receive free goodies from Sale-A-Bration!  I will definitely miss the exclusive products available only during Sale-A-Bration.    Here's a quick card using some of my favorites from this year's SAB products.

It is hard to believe that I did not use any TIEF(textured impressions embossing folder) on this card.  Instead I did a little embossing using the Simply Scored Diagonal plate(SSDP).  Nice to have more options!
