I told you a little about my February 12 in 12 list and today I will tell you about another one.  Send Valentine's cards.  Should be easy right?   Yes, it should be until it dawned on me that it is only a few days away.  EEK!   So I have been making an even simpler version of the card I showed you on Tuesday.   Hard to believe I could make it even simpler huh?

I started out using the Mocha Morning DSP and then went on to the Flirtatious DSP.   Once I started making these cards I got a little carried away and am now finishing up the 30th one.

Now I need to get writing and get them in the mail.   Once I do that i will have completed 4 out of the 12 on my list.  Good thing it is a leap year and there are 29 days  this month!

Elegant Bird Valentine

It always seems to happen this way.  I plan a day of stamping and nothing happens, no inspiration, no  nothing.   I know tomorrow when I have a busier day planned I will be itching to get into my stamp room.    It is crazy.  This is about all I could come up with and it could not get any simpler.  

I was going to send this to the Boy but before I do I am going to cut a new wing for this bird.   Maybe I am being silly but I just think  it would be better with another wing.   

I am going out for a slow walk.  As predicted I am a little sore.  Actually I feel great as long as I don't move.  Maybe after my slow walk I will  be a little more inspired.   Hope you are having a wonderfully creative day!

 

CPC Origami Valentine Box & Card!

MDS(My Digital Studio) Be Mine Hybrid Card

Can you guess where I got this background paper from?

If you read the title of this blog post you got a huge hint.  This background paper is one of the My Digital Studio's downloads for this week.  Every Tuesday Stampin'Up has new digital downloads available for purchase.    All I did here was print the Be Mine Framable Designer template onto text weight paper and cut out a portion of it to use as my background paper.   Here is what the download looks like.

Sneak Peek: You're My Type

Just 2 more days until you can order from the new Occasions Mini Catalog and it is a good one! Sneak Peek Fashionable Hearts Embosslit

I love this new Embosslit.  What is not to love?  You get 5 different sizes of hearts and they are all embossed.    The largest heart is embossed with a houndstooth pattern!  Truly adorable and a must have.  This new little die ranks pretty high  up on my list, right there with the Beautiful Wings embosslit so you know this is the real deal.   

So cute, right?  I layered 3 of the hearts with Stampin' Dimensionals on Sahara Sand card stock.   I used my trusty Perfect Polka Dot TIEF and be sure to check out the Real Red strip.  Do you see it ?

Do you see it now?  Yes, little embosed hearts!  This is part of the new Adorning Accents TIEF.  It is a 3 pack of  3 different edges.  Two of the edge designs just so happens to coordinate with the Adorning Accents Edgelits die.  This kind of coordination just makes me so happy and there is even  a stamp set that has an image that coordinates too.  This Occasions mini catalog is just filled with this kind of thoughtful products.  All the coordinating products makes crafting much easier and more fun too.   If you do not have your own copy of the Occasions Mini catalog let me know and  I will send one to you.

While in Nashville TN for  SU Leadership I participated in a shoebox swap with 40 other demonstrators!  The organizer, Sherrie does a great job of managing the swap and it is a lot of fun.  How this particular swap works is you bring the supplies to make 20 cards (same design) and you bring 20 completed cards.  Here are 2 of the cards we made.  I apologize that I do not know who designed these cards.
