I got my order from the new Spring/Summer SU catalog!  One of the sets that I really liked was Cheep Talk on page 90.  I think it reminded me of spring and you know we could use a little springtime around here!

We now have Texturz plates for the Big Shot and one set is a SU exclusive!  I had to have these so they went on my first order.  On the close up below you can see the texture on the designer paper.  Love it!

Paper: Kraft cs, Whisper White, Pixie Pink, Green Galore

Ink: Green Galore and Pixie Pink markers

Extras: Chocolate Chip taffeta ribbon, Scallop circle punch, 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 circle punches, scallop edge punch.

I used markers again so I could omit the words and also to get the different colors on the "Feb 14".

One last card and I will move on to another set and colors!

Have you noticed that there is a section missing from the Spring-Summer 2009 catalog?   What?  Where are  the Stampin' Supplies?  Yes, the section that lists all the supplies that were used to make the samples is MIA!  The decision to take that section out and instead use those pages to show more product was made.  Frankly, I love it and do not fear you can find the Stampin Supplies HERE.   What is really nice is a picture of the sample is right next to the list of supplies so it is very easy to use.  There is also a DORMANT list which are stamp sets that are still available for purchase but not featured in the catalog.  Check the dormant list out HERE.   One of my FAVORITE sets is on the dormant list- Inspired by Nature.    

This month is just zipping by way too fast!  There is so much going on and probably the most exciting is the debut of the new catalog!  I have put the new catalog link on the left hand side of the blog.  If you would like your own catalog then please contact me and we will get one to you.  The catalog is beautiful and as always filled with fabulous samples and ideas.  I think the new papers and embellishments are wonderful and I am  looking forward to my order!  Not to worry it will be here before the Sale-A-Bration/New catalog kickoff I am having on the Feburary 1st!  The game does not start till late so you can come  to my kickoff and then be home for the other kickoff!  Call or email me and let me know how many friends you are bringing with you!

Here is one of my favorite sets from the Holiday mini catalog that also made it in to the new catalog.

I know it is a little bright but I needed some bright with all the gray and fog we have been having here.

Ink: Pixie Pink & Green Galore markers, Basic Brown ink

Extras: Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Bold Bright brads, Heart to Heart punch

I used markers to color in the dandelion image and also so I could omit the words that are also a part of the stamp.  This is definitely a quick and easy card!

For me, the hardest cards to make are "manly" cards.  Some of my customers make fun of me when I show them my ideas of "manly" cards.  Now I don't think this is a "manly" man card but I think it could be sent to a man.  What do you think?
