Compliments to the Chef
July 18, 2009
When I first looked through the new Stampin'Up! catalog this set, Compliments to the Chef caught my eye. I love the utensils and knew I had to get it. I knew it would be a good set to have for the recipe classes I am having.
Lately I have been looking at different stamping Challenge websites and found this simple sketch here and thought it would be a fun one to do with this set. Here's the sketch.
I embossed the utensils with silver embossing powder on Brushed Silver cardstock. The Whisper White cs was embossed using the new Perfect Details Texturz plate. The utensils were not difficult to cut out and I love that it looks very dimensional.
Talking about chefs, when you have a minute please go and vote for Joan Cossette. She is trying to be a finalist in the 44th Pillsbury Bake Off. If she receives more votes than her competitor she will be selected to be one of the !00 finalists in Orlando Florida next April. Here is the website www.bakeoff.com Please go and vote for Joan she is a wonderful person and a great cook! The voting deadline is 10 am on July 23rd. Thank you and hopefully we will be seeing her on the Food Network next April at the Pillsbury Bake Off!

Hi Sharon,
I have passed right by this stamp set while leafing through the new catalog, but after seeing what you did with it, I've decided I just have to buy it. Nice job!
BTW, my new blog is finally up and running: stampinginthewoods.typepad.com.
