Growing up in Hawaii we wore flip flops aka rubbah slippahs all the time. Here in Spokane there is just a few short months that I wear them. I wanted to make my slippahs a little special so here is what I did.
I attached the flowers to the flip flops with velcro so i can change the embellishments. If you are in one of my hostess clubs this is one of the projects we will be making in July. The flowers and leaves are made of fun foam and the dies we used are the Leaves #2, SU Flower Folds, and the SU Blossom party. Here's a pair I made for a friend of mine.
The butterflys are from the SU Beautiful Butterflies die. You can cut lots of different materials with the Bigz, Bigz XL, and Orignials dies. There are so many great new dies in the catalog. Contact me if you would like a 2009-2010 Idea book and Catalog.
I am working on getting your ribbons cut and packaged. I hope to have them all ready for delivery in the next couple of days. I think you are really going to love the new colors!
Here's a little project that shows off the Bermuda Bay ribbon.
I love this color combination! Old Olive and Bermuda Bay are just beautiful together. The stamp set used here is For All You Do. The card on the left was embossed with the Perfect Details texturz plate for the Big Shot.
If there is another product share you are interested in, please let me know and I will figure out how to make it work!
The Deal of the Week is the Doctor's Bag for the Big Shot! The regular price is $69.95. The price from 7/6-7/12 (okay really 7/13 at 9:50am) is $49.99! Here is what the bag looks like and the item # is 113474. You can order online at www.sharonstamps.stampinup.net or contact me. Remember this special is just until 7/13 at 9:50 am!
Today was Breakfast at Wimbledon (bet you didn't know that tennis is the only sport I love to watch!) Here is what we had as our breakfast as we watched the Men's final.
Strawberry Shortcake-Yummy! I will be back in the stamp room tomorrow, maybe I better go for a walk first.
First off I want to say congratulations to Phyllis W. she won the stamp Celebrations!
One of the things we could pre-order as demonstrators was a level 2 hostess set. I was not planning to order one but when I saw the choices I had to. The only problem was which one? Seriously, I agonized over this. Finally I decided on the Wings of Friendship set. Here are a couple of things I made with the set.
I have to point out that the Clear Circle bigz die fits perfectly in the Scallop Circle die. Yahoo! If you have the Scallop Circle die you will want the Clear Circle cause it is a snap to layer. This makes me really happy and you will be seeing a lot more of these dies! The card on the left uses Soft Suede, Rich Razzleberry, and the new designer paper Razzleberry Lemonade. The card on the right uses Melon Mambo, Soft Suede, and Old Olive. On both cards I used the new 1/2' polka dot grosgain ribbon. Love it! I am doing a share on the ribbon and if you are interested check this post and contact me.
...this card is for you! Okay I had to say it but now I have it out of my system and can move on. I really like this new set. It is very easy to use and it is not difficult to cut out the images.
The card on the left uses 3 new In Colors: Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry , and Soft Suede. The card on the right uses Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, and Old Olive. If you look closely at the butterfly and flower they have polka dots. I first inked up the stamp in Melon Mambo and then stamped on top of it with Rich Razzleberry. Oh, yes I also colored in the body and head of the butterfly with a Rich Razzleberry marker! It is wonderful to have the In Colors in markers too! To see all the images in this stamp set click here or call/email me to get your own copy of the new catalog!

Here is an example of the Scallop Edge punch in action! This is a sweet double pocket holder perfect for little notes. The stamp set is FOR ALL YOU DO (new!) and the colors are the new Bermuda Bay(new!), Old Olive, and Whisper White.
