Autumn Days
August 05, 2009
I love the wheat image in the Autumn Days stamp set. Actually, I really like all the plant images. I have had this image of the wheat and a harvest moon in my mind since I first saw this set. I finally got it down on paper. Do I dare say it could pass as a "manly" card? I know, I am opening myself up to teasing since my definition of a manly card is pretty loose. Some would say I think anything that has brown or black on it qualifies in my mind. Pretty close to the truth, so you let me know what you think. Maybe I need to tighten up my definition of what a manly card is!
Stamps: Autumn Days and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Glossy White, Black textured, Elegant Eggplant, Very Vanilla
Inks: Old Olive, Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, Elegant Eggplant, Night of Navy and Black Stazon
Big Shot : SU Perfect Details Texturz plate, Clear Circle, Scallop Circle
Punches: Scallop Oval, Large and Small Oval, 1 3/4" circle
Extras: Stampin Sponges, Black 5/8" grosgrain, Elegant Eggplant 1/4" grosgrain
Very elegant and evocative card! it would certainly work for a "manly" card. Pretty neat, since we had a full moon last night, and i was starting to think about harvest moons when looking at it.

To the circle queen,
oh my word, another truly "awesome" card.
It was because of your cards that I had to purchase the scallop circle die and clear circle die.....thankfully you are giving ideas on how to use them too.
This card is a real eye catcher for a man or woman!

I Love your card. Purple is my favorite color and to use it with fall colors is beautiful. Looking forward to class on Monday night.
