Happy Moments Flowers

There is something about this simple image that I just really like.  It is quick and easy to color which makes it a perfect choice when you need to make a card in a hurry.  It is also an image that would work for many different occasions.  I think I just convinced myself to make a bunch of these to put in my stash.

Love and the Heart Treat cups

The past few days my hostess clubs have been meeting.  I look forward to seeing them every month.  Each group has their own "unique" vibe and they all make me laugh and very happy that I am a Stampin'UP! demonstrator.

Here's one of the projects we are making in my clubs this month.

Love card hostess1-10

I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the card,  Inside I have the letter U and a little heart.

Yesterday, I received the Occasions mini catalog that I sent myself.  Hope you have received yours if not, contact me and I will make sure you get one!  Have a great one and hope to stamp with you soon!

Quilting with the Big Shot

I am back from SU! Leadership and the Phoenix Regional meeting.  I can say these were the best SU! events I've ever attended.  There were many special things about the events and I will share some of them in futures posts but one thing that really was super cool was this.

059

No, SU! is not selling fabric!  It is a quilt block made from fabric cut out using the Big Shot!  Brilliant!  Shelli Gardner (co-founder of SU!)  wanted each of the demonstrators who attended the Leadership meeting to have a quilt block.  She talked to the SU! Manufacturing Manager and the employees (in Kanab) brought in their own sewing machines and made 1000 of these so we could each have one. How special is that? I matted mine with the coordinating SU! card stock and put it in a 12 x 12 frame.  It is hanging in my stamp room so you need to check it out.  Thank you Shelli and all the people in Kanab who made these!  I LOVE it and will TREASURE it.

If the idea of cutting out multiple layers of fabric at one time intrigues you contact me and I will show you how the Big Shot can be a big help in your sewing room!

Chirping in from Phoenix

Good morning from sunny and warm Phoenix!  It is some kind of wonderful to go outside without a coat!  I am on overload with all the information and CUUUTE ideas.  Not to worry I will be sharing when I get back.  Here's another card I made using the new XL bird punch and yes, it is a must have!

Happy New Year!

Hope you all had a great time saying goodbye to 2009 and ushering in 2010!  Today is the beginning of Sale-A-Bration and the Occasions mini catalog.  The catalogs are slowly making there way to your mailboxes.  We were notified that there was a delay in getting them mailed out so until you get yours you can look at them online.  I have updated the sidebars so look down the left hand side and click on the various new catalogs.

I am leaving in the morning for Phoenix to attend the SU! Leadership Meeting!  I also decided to stay an extra day and go to the Phoenix Regional seminar.  I am looking forward to warm temperatures (though I am not complaining cause we have had it pretty easy so far) and learning lots of new things to share with you.

One of the new products that I really like is the XL Bird punch.
