CPC3 Snow Much Fun

A new month means a new challenge over at Craft Project Central.  Last month I used Snow Much Fun so I thought I would use those cute snowmen again for this month's challenge.

Julie does a great job with the sketches. Here's this month's sketch.

Leaves of a Tree in Spring

Just stopping for a quick minute to show you another season in the life of the Leaves of a Tree stamp.

Leaves of a Tree Spring
Sorry about the quality of the picture.  I had a difficult time capturing the soft colors of Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz.  I really need to take that photography class!  I love the Stripes TIEF and really need to experiment with it more.

Well I gotta scoot.   Have a wonderful Saturday and check back with me tomorrow for my favorite card made with the Leaves of a Tree set!

Leaves of a Tree in Summer

Earlier in the week I was talking to my son and telling him how beautiful the weather was and the very next day summer was gone and it was dark and cold.  I was afraid that I had jinxed things and broken summer.  Thankfully the sunshine has returned and it looks like we are in for a few more days of summer.   I guess that explains why yesterday my Leaves of a Tree were autumn leaves.

Here's the Leaves of a Tree stamp showing its summer greenery.

Leaves of a Tree Summer

Do I dare say that this looks like it could be a Manly card?    Here's the inside of the card.

Oh Happy Day!

The Holiday mini catalog is LIVE!  I am so excited about this mini and think you will be too!  There are so many lovely new products in this mini and I  look forward to sharing with you lots of samples and ideas on how to use them.

What to share with you first?   What a wonderful dilemma!

Leaves of a Tree fall

This little tree is hidden on the back page of the Holiday mini catalog with other A la Carte stamps and is appropriately named Leaves of a Tree.   I know you are thinking that you don't want to do all that coloring  with markers.  Well, here's what I do.  I first ink the stamp up with the lightest color, here it is More Mustard, then marker over with the darker colors  (Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, and Bravo Burgundy).   If the colors look too muddy use a blender pen to take the  ink off before  applying the  markers.

The leaves on the side of the tree are from the Gently Falling set.  LOVE these leaves and best of all you don't have to rake them!  They are so fun to color and  a perfect set to use when you scrapbook all your  fall pictures.  If you want to see how I colored these leaves be sure to subscribe to my newsletter.  Go to the upper left hand side of the blog sidebar and subscribe there.  I will be doing a little tutorial on how I did this in my newsletter due out next Tuesday.

Enjoy the Holiday mini and check back tomorrow to see a another look using the Leaves of a Tree stamp!
