CPC Everyday Elegance Simply Sent Card Kit

I am excited to share with you the project I designed for Craft Project Central.  Here’s the perfect gift for the person who is in need of a card.  In other words…this project is great for everyone on your gift list!  The box has one compartment that holds seven cards and envelopes, and another that holds Stampin’ Dimensionals, postage stamps, and embellishments to make simple, but beautiful cards.  This is also a great club or class project especially with the Stampin’ Up! Simply Sent Kits promotion going on this month!

Button Buddies Petite Pocket card

The flower image is probably my second most favorite image in the Button Buddies set.   I love how it looks punched out with the Scallop Circle punch.  It is a pretty simple image but it just makes me happy.

Here it is paired with one of my favorite color combinations, Soft Suede and Pool Party.

Button Buddies flower soft suedeWho would have thought that a Soft Suede flower would be so cute!  The Petite Pocket Big Shot die  was cut from the Spcie Cake DSP from the Holiday mini catalog and a gift card fits perfectly in it.

Here's a closeup of the center of the flower.

Falling Leaves

Here's a card I made for a couple of swaps last month.  I realize I am a little obsessed with this kind of layout.  I like things all lined up and return to this concept  a lot.  The color combination is a little out there and another demo said to me she would never have  put these colors together.  Hmmm, is that good thing?  Not sure,  but I am sticking with it and you let me know what you think.
