You know I love me some bumpy, lumpy cards. When I mail these less than svelte cards they always require more postage. I don't mind paying the extra surcharge to mail these cards, I think of it as my little way of helping the post office. That being said it is fun to also make cards that are flatter, more streamlined. Sometimes the simplest cards can be the most difficult to make. Do you know what I mean? The whole clean and simple but beautiful can be tough to acheive. All I can say is thank goodness for the Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (TIEF)! Sometimes just that little bit of texture really helps.
Here's today's go at a more mailable card.
Stamps: Button Buddies and Petite Pairs
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Real Red and Old Olive markers
Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Red Glimmer paper, Big Top Birthday
Big Shot: Perfect Polka Dots TIEF
Punches: Scallop Trim Border punch
