Isn't technology incredible?  Yes, there are days that I sit in front of the computer wondering why it won't do what i want it to and many times I cannot even figure out what I want it to do!  Then there are times that i just marvel at what can be done with phones and cameras .  Here's an example, I got a text message and photos which made me all kinds of happy.

I simply wrapped a piece of the Holly Berry Bouquet DSP around a box and tied a piece of cherry Cobbler Seam binding to secure it.  The words are from the Many Merry Messages stamp set and the dove is from the Holiday Windows Movers and Shapers die.

I wanted to use the same ingredients and make a card to share with you and it even qualifies as a Mailable Monday card.  Definitely letting the Holly Berry Bouquest DSP do all the work.

Did you have a nice Thanksgiving?  Hope so!  We enjoyed sharing the day and a special meal with friends.  Now it is time to get serious about Christmas.  I am working on ideas for our card this year and I want something very simple and clean.  Here are two of the ones I am considering.

Here's what I have been working on in the stamp room.

I "uncovered" these calendars during my last craft table clean up.  I  purchased  them a few months ago and I am sure I had a fantastic plan for them.  Since I could not remember what the original  plan was (does this happen to anyone else?)  I decided they would make great refrigerator magnets.   They aren't going to make it on time for Thanksgiving but it is still way early for  2012 so really I am ahead of schedule.   How's that for some twisted logic?

I was going to use some pre-cut chipboard squares but I thought it would be so much easier to make my own chipboard coasters.  How is that easier you ask?  I used the Clear Circle Big Shot die and  cut out circles from thick chipboard( On Board chipboards sheets).  I also used the die to cut out the magnet sheet, the Desiger Series Paper, and the Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive sheets.    This made assembling the base very easy, no measuring, no sanding everything just fit.  Love it!  If I was really thinking I would have used my Big Shot to cut out the little banner and the flowers too but unfortunately I was not that efficient but maybe next time.
