Sneak Peek Fashionable Hearts Embosslit

I love this new Embosslit.  What is not to love?  You get 5 different sizes of hearts and they are all embossed.    The largest heart is embossed with a houndstooth pattern!  Truly adorable and a must have.  This new little die ranks pretty high  up on my list, right there with the Beautiful Wings embosslit so you know this is the real deal.

Rhea swap
So cute, right?  I layered 3 of the hearts with Stampin' Dimensionals on Sahara Sand card stock.   I used my trusty Perfect Polka Dot TIEF and be sure to check out the Real Red strip.  Do you see it ?

Heart emboss close up

Do you see it now?  Yes, little embosed hearts!  This is part of the new Adorning Accents TIEF.  It is a 3 pack of  3 different edges.  Two of the edge designs just so happens to coordinate with the Adorning Accents Edgelits die.  This kind of coordination just makes me so happy and there is even  a stamp set that has an image that coordinates too.  This Occasions mini catalog is just filled with this kind of thoughtful products.  All the coordinating products makes crafting much easier and more fun too.   If you do not have your own copy of the Occasions Mini catalog let me know and  I will send one to you.

White on White Butterflies

I was up late last night trying to get a few more things checked off the list.   Today is the last day for the list and what doesn't get done,  just doesn't get done.  Before I "wrapped" it up for the night I decided to make something that has been rolling around in my head and I knew it would be a good way to wind down.   I wanted to make a white card .  Something crisp and clean.

Whitebfly card
I used two of my favorite Big Shot dies; the Perfect Polka Dot TIEF and the Beautiful Wings Embosslit.

Close bfly curve
I also used this new die Adorning Accents Edgelits  which is in the new  Occasions Mini catalog and  also the Adorning Accents TIEF more coordination of products.  I love that!  The Edgelit cut the beautiful edge and then the Adorning Accents TIEF embossed the curve.   The Edgelit is  about 6" long .  I love that I can make this beautiful curve.  The Edgelit can be postioned such that you can cut it straight or angled like I did on this card.

Bfly and hello
I think this would make a great wedding card but I have been wanting to use this stamp from the  Elementary Elegance set featured in the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  Love this font!   You know I will be using this one a lot!

I cut out all the butterflies using Card Stock Vellum which is heavier than regular vellum.  The embosslit cuts it out perfectly.  I attached the butterflies with Stampin' Dimensionals. I had to cut small pieces of it to fit the butterfly.  Basic Pearls or Rhinestones?  Decided on the pearls to keep it all white and I think the Rhinestones would look great I am glad I chose the pearls.

It is time to get back to the list!  Hope your list is short or already finished.  Wish me luck completing mine.   See ya tomorrow!

CPC Bonus Project Live in the Sunshine Card Box and Cards

Today I am excited to share with you the project I designed for Craft Project Central.   When I designed this project it was an especially gray and drizzly day here in the Pacific Northwest and I was craving some sunshine and happy colors.   The box has a  different closure  using the Oval Scallop frame die.  I hope you like it!

Sneak Peek Apothecary Art

Sorry for the blog absence.  I went into Christmas panic mode.   Can you relate?  Saturday we went to the mall and it  finally hit me, Christmas is just a few days away!  I know there really is no excuse but it seems like I have been working on Christmas for a long time and it was always some day way in the future.  Well that future hit me on the head on  Saturday!

Since then I have calmed down some, crossed a lot off the list,  modified the list and accepted that some things are not going to be done in time.    Fortunately, I have something new to show you that I made before i went into panic mode.

Happiest Birthday
The stamp set, Apothecary Art is a new one from the Occasions Mini Catalog and the label is from the Labels Collection (Framelits).   I think by now the Occasions Mini Catalogs have been mailed out so you can see what theFramelits look like.  They are very cool and I cannot wait to see all the fun ways people are going to use them.  For the background  I did what I call the double folder technique where I used the Framed Tulip TIEF and the Perfect Polka Dot TIEF on the same card.  You can see other samples of this here , here and here.

I am off to join my fellow citizens at the Post Office.   It will be a party but it means a few more things checked off the list!  Hope your day is fabulous and you are not standing in line at the post office.
