Sneak Peek Twitterpated

We are having some work done in the kitchen and this afternoon I have been happily stamping away while the worker's hammer away downstairs.  I am trying to get some posts done ahead of time so when things get crazy busy around here there will still be new things getting posted for you.  It has been fun playing with new stamping supplies from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  There's a lot of fabulous new stuff coming your way so get ready!

What did you notice?  Was it the new ribbon?  Love this new ribbon and it comes in 4 colors and not to worry I will be doing a ribbon share once the Occasions Mini goes live.   I used a little of the new Designer Series Paper called Twitterpated.   There are  coordinating little buttons that are so sweet and come in Blushing Bride and Baja Breeze.    I even snuck in a new Sizzlit called Paper Doily.  What I really like about the Paper Doily sizzlit is that you can use it in so many ways.  I have some hints for you on how you can use it so stay tuned.

Sneakpeek close upThis doily is about 4" and what is really interesting is all the patterns within the doily.  Here I cut away almost half of the doily to fit the card.
Things have gotten very quiet all of a sudden so it muct mean they are done working so I better go and chat with them.  Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check the Stampin' Up! Clearance Rack  HERE there are some great deals on paper, punches and more!

Clearance Rack Blitz

Snow Much Fun and the Holly Berry Bouquet DSP

This little snowman from the Snow Much Fun stamp set has certainly been geting a good work out!  Today's card is not close to the idea I started out with but I think that is a pretty common occurrence when stamping.  After I got the cute little snowman colored I wanted him to hold a banner which brought to mind the banner from the Pines and Poinsettias set.  If I had  known this I would have omitted the snowball but fortunately I found the "merry" from the Tiny Tags set and it just covered up the snowball.  I love it when you find just the right thing to cover up , I mean "embellish" your card.

Merry christmas snowmanHere's what I used.

Stamps: Snow Much Fun, Pines and Poinsettias, Tiny Tags
Ink:  Black Stazon , Wild Wasabi, Baja Breeze, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Gray, Sahara Sand marker
Paper: Very Vanilla, Shimmery White, Early Espresso, Holly Berry Bouquest DSP
Punches:  Jewerly Tag, Scallop Oval
Ribbon: Early Espresso3/8" Quilted Satin Ribbon, Early Espresso/White Baker's Twine
Extras: Circle Cutter, Basic Rhinestones, red Sharpie, Aqua Painter

I am off to run lots of errands.    If you want to simplify your shopping please consider a gift certifcate for stamping products.  I know just the person who can help you with that!  I will even make a cute card to house your certificate.  Contact me and I would be happy to help you get your shopping done!
