Two-A-Days and Thank Goodness for Swaps!

My stamp table is covered over with "stuff"!  I need to uncover the surface of my stamp table before I can stamp anything new.  Does this happen to you?  It is on my list to do right after I complete my blogging Two-A-Days.  In the meantime all I can say is thank goodness for swaps!  The cards I am going to share with you are from a swap the stampers on my team; Stamp Ladies made. The swap theme  were for items  in the Sale-A-Bration and/or the Occasions Mini Catalog.

I am going to share the cards from the stampers in Spokane first since they probably have not received  the card package I sent.  I want them to see it in person first before seeing it on a blog.

SL1-12 swap LisaK
This lovely card was stamped by Lisa Kirishian.   I love the colors and how she blended the Mixed Bunch set,  the Fresh Vintage set, even the Elementary Elegance set,  some of my favorites!  She also used the Blossoms punch and the Framelits Labels Collection.  The DSP(Designer Series Paper) is from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and is called Everyday Enchantment and I can say this is one of my all time favorite papers!

SL1-12 swapSunny
This beauty is from Sunny Hasler.  She also did a wonderful job of mixing the different products.  I can see the Tea Shoppe set, the Everyday Enchantment DSP, the Pleated Satin Ribbon , and the brads and ribbon from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad pack.  Don't ya love the folded down corner?  It is those little details that can make such a big difference.

Hope you are inspired by these two great cards as I was.  I will be sharing more from the swap over the next few days.   Off to clean my stamp table and I will be back for more Two-A-Days tomorrow!  Hope you have been enjoying the extra posts!

Mixed Bunch in Many Colors

One of the  stamp sets I really wanted to order from the Occasions mini was Mixed Bunch.   Love bold flower images and with a coordinating punch what could be better?  I had to wait since this set was the one we were going to receive at the Leadership Meeting.   I am still finishing up the make and takes from Leadership featuring this set and i will show them to you as the week continues and I complete them.    I had to stamp some samples of my own that have been rolling around in my brain since I first saw the set.   Here's the first design card I stamped.

Mixed bunch punch out concord
Here it is in another color combination.

Mixed bunch punch out peach
and another...

Mixed bunch punch out calypso

I liked it so much that I made it another color combination but that one is for a swap I am in so I will not show that one yet.  This is a super easy card and I think it lends itself to lots of occaisions.

Here are the different color combinations: Concord Crush and Black, Peach Parfait and Not Quite Navy, and Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade.  The polka dot DSP is from the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stacks.  The brads are either Glimmer Brads or the Everyday Enchantment brad and ribbon combination from Sale-A-Bration.  If you have any questions about the supplies drop me an E and i will get it answered.  hope you are enjoying the Two-A-Days!

Catching Up!

Yes, I am back from Stampin' Up's Leadership meeting.  It was a wonderful event and I had the best time.   Stampin' Up! really knows how to show their demonstrators a good time.   I met a lot of people and learned  a lot from the presentations but also from talking with other demonstrators and you know me I like to talk.  I  missed most of the snow and ice that was happening back home in Washington. Hard to believe that Jim went cross country skiing around our neighborhood!  It was a shock to see all the tree damage that occured during the storm.

I have got to share something with you.

Winnerfixed
I am pointing to the wrong name but look at the second name.   That's  me!  I won a $100 Shopping Spree from Stampin' Up!   Thanks Carolyn for the picture!  I am pretty excited and am trying to decide exactly what I want to order.   What would you order?  So many possibilites!

I have a lot more to share with you so stay tuned.  Oh yes, I picked a winner from the online orders placed while I was at Leadership and Laura S you are the winner of the January tutorials from Craft Project Central!  I will send you an email with all the details.

Thanks for stopping by and checking in on me.  Remember to sign up for my new mailing list just go to the upper left hand corner of the blog to sign up.

Back to Reality

Homeward bound!  Yup, I am winging my way back home.  Back to reality.  One of the things I have on my list to do when I get back  is to start working on my newsletter.  I need your help.  If you are on my E-mail list  and want to continue to receive newsletters from me you will need to sign up again to be part of my new list.  What?! I am trying out a new email newsletter service and closing out my other one.  Here is what you need to do.  Go to the upper left hand side of the blog and fill out the form under "Join My Mailing List".  It does not take much time to do and then you will be signed up to receive my newsletters.   I am sure there is an easier way to do this but I have not figured it out yet so please scroll up and fill out the form.

If you signed up to be apart of my newsletter list since mid December you do NOT need to do anything.

Thank you and if I figure out an easier way to do this, I will let you know!

Flowers and Butterflies

There's something about Mary...you know my stamping friend Mary Ammar.  She made this card for the swap and I love it.

Lovingthoughtsmaryammar
She used that lovely Everday Enchantment DSP and a brad from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad pack.  Check out the edge of the paper and the embossing too.  Don't ya just love that kind of coordination?  She used both the Edgelits die and the TIEF  Adorning Accents.  Very pretty card, Mary.

Here's a fun card from my friend Pam Stern.  Pam always has a fun take on things.

Mixed Bunch
I love the way she made these butterflies with the Mixed Bunch stamp set and the Blossom punch.  If you look on page 16 of the Occasions Mini catalog there is another idea on how to make a butterfly using this set and punch.   Can I tell you that I really love the 3 different sizes of rhinestones she used for the butterfly's body.  I have totally adopted (aka CASED) this idea and have been using it on all my butterflies.

Well, the party is almost over and I will be heading home.  I know my head will be swimming with ideas!
