In Color Butterflies

I have been having fun working with the new In Colors and they are definitely growing on me.   This is another color sampler card which means I used all the new In Colors on this card.

Check out the new ribbon?  Love it!  It is easy to work with and I love the rows of stitching.  I will definitely be offering a product share of these ribbons.

Here's what I used to make the card:

Stamps: Just Believe
Ink: Summer Starfruit, Raspberry Ripple
Paper: Summer Starfruit, Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Midnight Muse
Big Shot: Beautiful Butterflies, Perfect Polka Dot TIEF
Extras: Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Basic Rhinestones

Even though I have been sharing a few sneak peeks lately  don't forget to get your order in for the Retiring Stamps and the Retiring Accesories.  I hate to see you miss out on something on the lists.

In Colors and Betsy's Blossoms

I took a quick break from the Craft room re-organization to stamp with the new In Colors for 2012-2014 and a new set called Betsy's Blossoms.  I like to make a card that uses all the new In Colors, kind of a color sampler card.  I plan to make more of these to tuck in with the new catalogs I am sending out.  I am also including a little In Color card stock sampler so you can see what the colors really look like.

It Has Got To Be Done

Happy Mother's Day!  I know I am late but everyday should be Mother's Day, right?  It was a busy, fun and productive  weekend.   Which leads me to my mission today.  I have been asking, asking and asking if the closet doors in my stamp room could easily be removed or not. Guess what?  They can be and they are off!  Today I am going to spend the day cleaning and organizing my stamp room.  I love doing this even though it usually results in me not being able to find anything for a few weeks.  I have accepted that for at least right now my room will never be one of those dreamy beautiful crafting spaces but by the end of the day I hope it will be a little better organizied and dare I say tidier.

Remember to leave me a comment or send me an email to have a chance at winning the May tutorials from Craft Project Central.  Check this post for all the details.  We will be picking a winner tonight.  I plan to be back tomorrow with something new to share made in my re-organized craft room!

Snow Burst TIEF Flowers

I have a quick little thing to share with you today. The  project I planned to show you just is not as cute as I thought it would be or would like it to be so I am just going to show you a part of it while I work on the rest of it.

Aren't these little flowers cute?  Want to know how I made them?

Berry Blossom DSP and Daisies #2, More of My Favorite (Retiring) Things

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!  Hope you have set aside some time in your day to get your hands inky.  I am planning to get some crafting time in later today if all goes according to plan.  First off I have to uncover my craft table!  I have been pulling out stuff and not putting anything back and my stamping surface has been getting smaller and smaller.  It is crazy but it happens all the time.  Does this happen to you?

Today's card uses more of my favorite things that are retiring.  You know  how much I love the Daisies #2 Big Shot die and here it is with another of my favorite retiring DSP, Berry Blossoms.

Berry Blossoms Daisies

Here is what the card looks like partially open

I wanted to show you this so you can see that the card base is a little shorter in the front.  It measures 5 1/2" x 7 1/2".   Just something a little different.  Don't you just love the  Berry Blossoms DSP?  It's so cheery and bright and you gotta love the micro polka dot pattern.
Here's what I used:

Stamps: Pursuit of Happiness (I know I use this a LOT!  I promise to but lots of new sentiments-see how I sacrifice for you! )
Ink: Early Espresso
Paper: Early Espresso, Whisper White, Berry Blossoms DSP
Big Shot: Daisies #2, Top Note, Beautiful Wings
