Summer Silhouettes and the Floral District DSP
July 13, 2012
Today’s card is made with the Summer Silhouette set. This set was on and off the list for my first order from the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog. Did I really need another flower set? I know silly question! The answer is there is always room for another flower set. Besides it is another training tool since it is another example of doing the 2 Step, 2 Step Stamping that is!
Stamps: Summer Silhouettes, Sweet Essentials
Ink: Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Paper: Whisper White, Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie, Floral District DSP
Punches: 2-1/2” Circle, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack
Big Shot: Perfect Pennants Bigz die, Perfect Polka Dot folder
Extras: Rose Red brads from the Subtles Collection, Dazzling Details, Paper Piercing tool, Pierce Mat, Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack
Sharon’s Stamping tip: I just love it that the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack fits around these flowers from the Floral District DSP! Don’t look underneath the Pumpkin Pie card stock there are probably some flowers missing from the DSP!
I used the new Essential Paper-Piercing Pack, Pierce Mat, and Paper Piercing Tool to make sure my brads were evenly spaced. I love the new Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack! It is so much bigger which makes it easier to use. There are lots of templates so you can pierce around lots of different punch and Big Shot shapes. There will be more templates to come so get your Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack, Mat, and Tool now! You can order online at my store or call me and I will be happy to help you!
