Comfort Cafe DSP and a Challenge
August 22, 2012
Did you miss me? I feel badly that I said I was going to be a more consistent blogger and then promptly went silent. The past week was a good example of life happening and just having to accept and doing what needs to be done.
I have been away from my stamp room and to get back into the stamping and blogging groove I decided to do a challenge. This is the challenge I chose. Here is the sketch by Mary Jo aka Technostamper.
Mary Jo's sketches are very clean layouts and I really like that. Here is what I came up with using the sketch.
Stamps: Pursuit of Happiness
Ink: Cajun Craze
Paper: Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, Comfort Cafe DSP, In Color Designer Paper Stack 2012-2014
Punches: Elegant Butterfly, 2-1/2" Circle
Big Shot: Perfect Pennants die
Extras: Basic Pearls
I liked this sketch so much that I made another card with different DSP and I am posting it on my Facebook Page. I was excited to see that I hit 100 likes on my Facebook page, thank you! Once I get a few things taken care of I will post a little giveaway to celebrate. After all we need to celebrate all we can! Thanks again for checking in!
Sharon this is a fabulous card. I love the butterflies and how you made the sediment the focal point! Awesome job, thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week! The paper choices are wonderful!
