Stippled Blossoms Got the Blues

A Little Something When Things Get Rough

You know you are obsessed when things are not just yellow but Daffodil Delight or Tangerine Tango instaed of orange.     You know you are very obsessed when you buy things because they are Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango or any of the other Stampin' Up colors. Have you ever done that?  Well, I definitely do  and so now you know i am obsessed, just in case you did not already know that!

I found this nail file and knew I had to buy it because it coordinated so well with Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango and Rich Razzleberry!

I made a topper using the Labels Collection Framelits stamped with the Summer Silhouettes stamp set leaf.   The flowers are punched with the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack and the little butterfly is from the Beautiful Wings embosslit.   The plastic bag is what the nail file was already packaged in.  All I did was open it and attach the flap to the inside of the topper.  Wouldn't this make a fun little gift?   I am thinking of cheesy little sayings like, "to help make things a little smoother" or "for when things get rough"  would be fun to place in the bag or on a tag.

The world is a colorful place and I love that I have these Stampin Up! names of colors that I can use and you instantly know what I mean.   It is almost like our own not so secret code.  Well, I am off to run some errands and will keep a lookout for more little gift items that I can dress up.  Stay tuned cause you know I am going to share them with you.

What a sweet little gift! And a perfect match of colors as well!

I LOVE the not so secret language of Stampin' Up! because I can describe the color I want to paint my walls, or the new sweater I bought to my sister who's in another state using the SU color names, and she knows exactly what I'm talking about. ;)

I know exactly what you are talking about Sharon. Even my granddaughters talk in the SU color language, lol.

I love this little gift idea and I love your saying about "when things get rough".

Can you share just "where" you found these little gems? It most likely was not a chain type store, but it sure doesn't hurt to ask, does it?

Hey Louise. I found the emery boards at Bed Bath and Beyond. Glad you liked the project. Thinking about you. hugs

Okay I messed up. I always get these 2 stores mixed up. I really got the emery boards at Bath and Body Works-sorry about that!
