Stippled Blossoms Birthday Makeover
September 28, 2012
I have had this Stippled Blossoms card on my desk for awhile. There was just something about it that I was not happy with. Today I decided to work on it and see what I could figure out. It was also one of those days that I just could not seem to get started so it was easier to work on a re-do then start from the very beginning.
The only product I used that was different was the ribbon. Unfortunately this is a retired ribbon, Early Espresso taffeta. I have to tell you what I just did. I looked in the catalog and looked under the wrong type of ribbon and thought that Early Espresso Taffeta was current. I then went to my ribbon shelves and started to move ribbon from the retired shelf to the current shelf. I now have to move the ribbon back to the retired shelf since I was looking under the wrong category. Don't ya hate it when that happens?
Here is the inside of the card.
So, what do you think? I hope I made it better. I am now putting the card away. I don't think it can take being torn apart again.
Dress Shopping Update: The shopping trip was succesful and she found two dresses that she loved. She bought one for Homecoming and the other for prom. All I can say is that Homecoming dress shopping is not for sissies! It was a fun day and I was so tired when I came home.
