Leaves and Gratitude
October 08, 2012
I was looking through a magazine and saw the idea to do a monochromatic background with die cuts which is what inspired this card. The problems was figuring out all the other elements. I sponged ,sprayed , made a mess, and it was fun!
Here's a closeup of the leaves. I hope you can see some of the shimmer from the shimmer paint and Smooch Spritz I used.
Stamps: Day of Gratitude, Gently Falling
Ink: Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight, More Mustard, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Riding Hood Red
Paper: Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Orchard Harvest DSP,First Edition DSP
Punches: 2 1/2" Circle
Big Shot: Autumn Accents, Woodgrain folder
Extras: Antique Brads, Stampin Sponges, Gold Glow Smooch Spritz, Champagne Mist Shimmer paint
Today is one of those perfect fall days. We have bright blue skies, a little crispness to the air, and leaves beginning to change colors, it doesn't get much better. Hope your day is a fabulous one and thank you for stopping by!
This card is beautiful....totally Fall. Does look a little involved, but I think I may give it a try. Thanks for sharing.
