Sneak Peek Feel Goods and Pinwheels

I had originally planned not to do sneak peeks from the Occasions Catalog until after Christmas but well, it is what I have been working on and excited about so I am making an exception for today.   The set is called Feel Goods and it has 5 great sentiments.  I paired it with a new pinwheel sizzlit that is small and really cute.

011As you can see the pinwheel is pretty small.   The first few times I put the pinwheel together I felt like my fingers were huge and so clumsy.  It gets easier and here's a little tip.  Use your bone folder and curl the arms of the pinwheel in towards the center.  This will help you fold the arms and secure the brad.

Feel Goods1 Polka Dot Parade

Stamps: Feel Goods, Sweets for the Sweets, Friendly Phrases
Ink: Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Black stazon
Paper: Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Polka Dot Parade DSP
Big Shot:  Pinwheel Sizzlits die, Perfect Polka Dot folder
Embellishments: Brights Brads, Delicate Details Lace Tape (love this and know I already need more!)

So, are you wondering where did I use the Sweets for the Sweets set or the Friendly Phrases?

Is it just me or are you happy that there is a pinwheel image in the Sweets for the Sweet set?  There is also a sentiment set called Wishes Your Way in the Occasions Catalog that coordinates with the pinwheel  die.  So much cuteness and coordination-love it!

If you need to order any gifts for Christmas, Stampin' Up is recommending that you do so by December 12th to be sure the order gets to you in time.  Let me know or you can also go to my online store and order at anytime, even in your pjs!

Mailable Monday and Stippled Blossoms

I have said it before, I just had to clean up my craft table before I did anything else.  This time not only did I end up with a clean desk but I also found a bunch of Stippled Blossoms that were already cut out!  Don't you just love it when you find little things like this?  It is kind of like finding money in a coat pocket that you forgot about.  Here's the quick card I made using those found flowers.

Mailable Stippled Blossoms

During the clean up  I also found a piece of the Natural Composition Specialty DSP that I had cut out a frame in.  I used the label  framelit from the Apothecary Accents framelits to cut out a frame but never completed the card. Lots of leftover pieces came together to make this card.  So now I have a cleaner desk and a mailable Monday card.   Now that I have that clean table I need to get back to work and get it messy again!
