Flowering Flourishes
March 21, 2013
I had big plans to showcase lots of Sale-A-Bration samples this week since Sale-A-Bration is ending tomorrow ( Friday the 22nd) but it just was not meant to be. My allergies have been crazy this week and I have not felt very creative. I spent a frustrating couple of hours in my craft room which is usually my happy room, before giving up. Lots of starts and fails and nothing looked right. Here is the only card I completed, even this simple card was a struggle.
I am still not sure about it but since it was the sole survivor I decided I would share it with you.
The card base is 4-1/4" x 8-1/2" and the panel extends above the base about 1-1/4".
Stamps: Flowering Flourishes (C126367), Blooming with Kindness (C 126422)
Ink: Black Stazon
Paper: Basic Black CS, Whisper White CS, Red Stripe Brights DSP Paper Stack (117155) , Twitterpated DSP (125406)
Punches: 1-1/4" Circle (119861), 1-3/8" Circle (119860)
Big Shot: Beautiful Wings Embosslit (118138), Scallop Square Bigz Clear (115950)
Embellishments: Pearls colored with Black Sharpie (11947), Black 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon (119962)
I am back in the craft room today and armed with some new allergy medications so i am hopeful that it will be a productive and creative day. Remember to get your Sale-A-Bration orders in soon. If you need assistance please feel free to contact me.
Hope to stamp with you soon!

ps: I would never send you an email with just a link in it so if you get one just delete it. I am way too chatty to send just a link so you know someone else is up to no good.
Just a gorgeous card here! I always love red, black, and white cards. Your design is very pretty also. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Sharon, I LOVE this card! I really like how you've stamped the flourish on that piece of DSP that I never know what to do with - it looks great!

Thank you! That piece of DSP also stumped me so it was wonderful to find a way to use it.
