If you think the card I am going to share with you looks a little familiar, you are right. Here's the original card I posted.
I wanted to fancy up the card a little for the In Color Card class. I added the 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim in Strawberry Slush and the lattice work on the fold. Everything else stayed the same.
Yes, I am still infected with Mosaic Madness! There are so many fun ways to use this stamp set and punch. This stamp set lends itself to making handsome cards, perfect for those men in your life.
I used the same idea that I shared in this previous post. This time I stamped it with White Craft ink before punching out all those tiles.
Stamps: Mosaic Madness bundle (132733 includes the Mosaic punch), Simply Sketched Ink: Whisper White Craft ink Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red Punches: Mosaic, Large Oval Big Shot:Modern Mosaic folder
Are you wondering what punch I used to make the label? Here's a quick little step by step to help you.
Punch out 3 Mosaic pieces and 1 Large Oval
Place one Mosaic punch to each end of the oval.
Easy and quick little frame for the Large Oval punch.
So, do you have Mosaic Madness too? If you need to get a bundle of your own please go to my online store. I would love to be your Stampin' Up! demonstrator!
When i first saw the Yippee-Skippee stamp set I knew it had to be mine. If you have been around me lately you know my love-hate relationship with carbs and you have heard the whole range of ideas I have tried regarding carbs. So "carbs, schmarbs! Eat the Cake" seemed so perfect. I will definitely be using that on the next birthday cards I make. It is strange that the 2 sentiments that I did not think I would use that much were the two that I used first.
Can you see what I did? Thank goodness for markers! I did have to use a Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the "You" but I love the new saying it created. It is going to be SO FUN coming up with new sayings from the Yippee Skippee stamp set.
I wanted the centers of the flower to pop and be a little glitzy. Here's how I created the look. First I embossed a strip of black card stock with some Iridescent Ice embossing powder. Don't have any Iridescent Ice embossing powder? You can make your own if you have Clear embosing powder and Dazzling Diamonds glitter, just mix a little bit of each together in a seperate container. The Clear embossing powder will hold the glitter in place as it melts. I used the circle punch that comes in the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack and punched out the glittery black circle and then layered on to 1/2" circle cut from the Silver Glimmer paper.
Stamps: Flower Shop ( bundle 132726), Yippee Skippee (131344) Ink: Real Red and Daffodil Delight ink pads, Real Red and Basic Black markers, VersaMark Paper: Whisper White, Old Olive, Basic Black, Silver Glimmer paper Punches: Pansy, Bird punch, 2-1/2" circle, 1/2" circle, Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack Big Shot: Perfect Polka dot folder Extras: Iridescent Ice embossing powder, heat gun, Stamp-a-ma-jig
Remember you can get the Flower Shop stamp set and Pansy punch together as a bundle at 15% off. Definitely the way to go.
I am going through one of those periods were there seems to be so much to be done and I am not really getting to any of them. You know what I mean? One thing on my list is to take some pictures of what I have been stamping. All I can say is it is a good thing that I have a few cards that I forgot to blog about that I had already taken pictures of.
This is a simple one layer card using the Secret Garden stamp set and framelits. The sentiment is from Really Good Greetings-love it! Sometimes one layer cards can be harder to make than those with multiple layers. I am still learning and trying to figure out the balance between too much white space and too little.
Wish me luck as I tackle my to do list. Have a fabulously creative day!

Hello! Welcome to my Flower Shop! This is a brand new stamp set called Flower Shop and it has a coordinating punch, Pansy. I love when I have a punch or Big Shot die /framelit to cut out the image for me. Now I don't mind a little fussy cutting every once in a while but given a choice I would much prefer a punch or die to do the work for me.
The Flower Shop set has 6 different flowers that all coordinate with the punch. I used three of the images on this card. It is pretty easy to see two of the images but can you find the third?
Stamps: *Flower Shop(130942), Four You(130538 Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Old Olive, Basic Black Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Old Olive, Subtles Collection DSP paper stack Punches: 2-1/3" circle, *Pansy( 130698), Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack, 1/2" circle Big Shot: Perfect Polka Dot folder, Secret Garden framelits Extras:Brights Candy Dots(130931) *You can purchase the stamp set and punch seperately OR buy them as a bundle(132726) at a 15% discount. Love it!
If you would like to have your own Flower Shop you can go to my online store or contact me and I would be happy to help you and don't forget to bundle it up!
So, did you find the third image I used from the Flower Shop set? Look closely at the leaves. See the leaves with the lines? That's it! I cut apart the petals to make the leaves.
