Paper Bows
June 10, 2013
Here's a little tutorial on how to make the paper bows in this post and on page 152 of the Stampin' Up! catalog.
Place a glue dot on the mark you made and then attach the loop piece on top.
Cut a 1/4" x 4" strip of DSP. I find it easier to leave the length long and then trim it.
You can make these bows any size you like. Here's a slight variation.
Here the middle wrap is wider. To acheive this look instead of using a 1/2" circle punch use a 3/4" circle punch and the wrap strip is 1/2" wide instead of 1/4".
Here's how to attach your bow to a paper clip as seen on page 152 of the Stampin' Up catalog.
Wrap the 1/4' strip around the middle securing the paper clip to the bow.
These bows make super cute bookmarks.
They would definitely cute up any stack of papers you have on your desk.
Hope this tutorial will help you make some paper bows of your own. If you have any questions please contact me and I would love to see how you use your paper bows!
Thanks SO much for sharing this tutorial! I love these in the catalog!!
