Regarding Dahlias in Pool Party
July 28, 2013
I am back! Did you think I decided to stay in Utah and wait until it was time for the 2014 Stampin' Up! Convention? I did stay a few days after convention to do some touristing around Utah. We went to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Kodachrome Basin, Capitol Reef, and then back to Salt Lake City. We decided that it was time to find out what lay outside of the Convention Center. It was an amazing trip full of incredible scenery, good company, and a new appreciation for the state of Utah. One of these days I will share with you the flash flood and some of the animals we saw including a very big creep crawly tarantula.
I finally got back into the stamp room today. I tried to get stamping earlier but the need to organize all my new goodies from Convention took over and no real stamping was done. I found some dahlias I had embossed but not colored and used that for my starting point. Even though I was inspired and treated to so much eye candy during Convention I still found it hard to get started. Weird huh?
Stamps: Regarding Dahlias and Million & One
Ink: Island Indigo, Pacific Point, Pool Party
Paper: Whisper White, Island Indigo, Pool Party Core'dinations Card Stock, Vellum Card Stock, Shimmery White Card Stock
Big Shot: Ovals Collection, Delicate Designs folder, Beautiful Wings Embosslit
Extras: White Organza Ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, Stampin' Sanding Block, Aqua Painter, White Embossin Powder, Heat Tool
Did you know that you can get the Core'dinations Card Stock in every color? You can get a pack for each color collection which has 4 sheets of every color in that collection. I love that it is sandable and in this card I sanded the embossing to make it more noticeable. There is also a slight texture to the card stock which is just another fun option.
There are so many fun things coming up and announcements too and I will definitely be sharing them with you but this post is way too long as it is so I will save them for another day.
If you have any questions or need to some new crafting supplies feel free to contact me, cause I am back!
Ooo I love this card in the blue tones. Very pretty.
