CPC Perpetual Calendar and Anytime Notes

Perpetual Calendar with Anytime Notes

Today's Craft Project Central's project was designed be the ever talented Julie.  This Calendar will not only last a lifetime because it has every day, month and date possible, but also its Coaster Board construction makes it everlastingly durable! And the coolest part of making it is the cheapest, but most awesome alphabet ‘secret’ stamp set – and you can only find out about it when you get the tutorial! Plus you’ll get the directions to the everlasting Note Card Box and twenty Anytime Notes.  You’ll want to make several of these to give away as gifts!

To get this tutorial and 9 others go to Craft Project Central and subscribe to the month of December.

Fun Folds Friday...Oh Deer

Welcome to another Fun Fold s Friday!  Today I made a Z fold card using the Remembering Christmas stamp set from the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog.

   FFF Remembering Christmas

I am sure you are thinking what's  so fun about this fold, it looks like just a regular card.  Hold on the fun part is coming.

FFF remembering Christmas side

Now you can see a glimpse of the fun fold to come.

FFF Remembering Christmas top

Can you see the Z?  I think most times when we think about a Z fold card we think of it being a landscape card, which is why I wanted to change it up a little and made it a portrait style card.
To make this card start with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base and score it at 4-1/4" and 6-3/8".    My card opens fron the right side just to change things up a little more.
Here are the supplies i used to make this card:

I also used the sentiment from the November My Paper Pumpkin and a retired oval punch.

Hope you find some time to do something creative this weekend, maybe even make a Z fold card!  Have a great one and remember to check out the Clearance Rack there are still lots of fabulous and fun deals to be found!

Vivid Vases Sneak Peek

Can you believe Christmas is just 2 weeks away!   I would like to tell you that I am all set and ready but that would be a big fib and I am trying to get on Santa's "nice" list so I have to fess up that I am scrambling and am way behind.   To make matters worse my pre-order of Stampin' Up! goodies from the upcoming Occasions catalog arrived.  Hard to focus when all I want to do is get my fingers inky and play with my new stamps. paper, folders etc, etc.

Today I am going to show you a card made with some NEW items that will be available to purchase on January 3, 2014!

Calm Christmas Patchwork

Welcome to Fun Folds Friday!  I have been working on some ideas for themes to help organize my blogging.  I love alliteration and a fun card fold which is how Fun Folds Friday was born.  I will still post fun fold ideas on other days and some Fridays may have posts that feature something other than a fun fold but generally fun folds will be what you will see here on Friday.

Calm Christmas Patchwork

So are you wondering just where is that fun fold in this card?   I know it isn't obvious which to me is part of the fun of this fold.

The card base is 4-1/4" x 11" and scored at 3-1/4" and  8-3/4".  Just a little different.  Here are the supplies I used to make this card.

The inside sentiment is from the November My Paper Pumpkin kit.  Please leave me a comment or send me an email, if  there is a fold you would like to see featured here on Fun Folds Friday.
