Language of Love Scalloped Tag Candy Holder

I confess I bought a big bag of Ghiradelli Chocolate squares at Christmas time thinking I would make lots and lots of cute little favors.  I did make quite a few favors but I think I  might have eaten even more!  So, instead of eating even more I am going to make these favors using the Language of Love stamp set.

Scalloped Tag Language of Love candy holder

I LOVE that gold is back in style!  I embossed the Language of Love heart in gold on Real Red card stock  and embossed a strip of the Gold Foil paper with the Adorning Accents folder.  Notice the vanilla and gold twine-love!

Here are the basic measurements to make the candy holder.  Cut a piece of Real Red card stock a smidge less than 2"x 6-1/2".  Score 3-1/8"  from each end.  Use the Scalloped Tag Topper punch and punch out both ends.    Add all your gold touches, candy, and tie a bow with the twine and you are done!

Fast, pretty and hopefully this will deter me from eating anymore of the chocolate.  Have a creative day and I will try and stay away from the chocolate.

Fun Fold Friday Easel Card

Every year I buy these little calendars and plan to do a project with them.  Some years I am succesful and others I find them hidden in  my stash around June.  This year I got them done!

Blessed Easter calendar

This year I made a little easel to showcase the calendar and the beautiful Blessed Easter stamp from the Occasions catalog.  Here's how to make the easel.

Start with a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of card stock. Score at 4", 8",  9-1/4", 10-1/2".

Fff #2 easel

The 4"and 8"  folds are mountain folds.  The 9-1/4" fold is a valley fold and the 10-1/2" fold is a mountain fold.

FFF 2 side easel vies

Place adhesive along the the 1/2" tab and attach it to the top and you have your easel.  This fold is easy to mail since it lays flat but also stands up.  This works great for photos as well.
Here are the supplies I used to make this project.

Hope you liked today's Fun Fold Friday!

Just so you know I cut away the words from the tulip image and mounted them on a seperate block.  I also did this to the Vivid Vases stamp,   Just makes it easier and a little more versatile.
