Living in the Pacific Northwest you have to come to terms with the fact that it rains here. I guess that is why this stamp from the Sale-A-Bration set See Ya Later is my favorite. I think the other stamps are great but this one speaks to me and where I am right now.
It is very appropriate for today. I just read that we have had the wettest March since they have started keeping records.

Remember Sale-A-Bration ends on Monday!
I feel like Chicken Little warning you about the end of Sale-A-Bration. Unfortunately unlike Chicken Little this warning is true! Sale-A-Bration ends March 31. I hate to see it end. I will miss saying you can choose a free gift from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. Oh well, instead of focusing on the end I am going to focus on sharing more ideas on using your SAB gifts.

You are amazing! Yes, you are all those things and more! Are you wondering where in the heck did I get this stamp? I designed it! Let me tell you it was both easy and so fun to do. Stampin' Up has a new option to make your own monogram. It is called the Circle Monogram stamp 132852 $23.95
The font style and image is set but you can use it to create personalized thank yous, save the date, really it is up to you.
The only problem with the Circle Monogram stamp is that I want to make lots more of them. This is really a fun new addition.
Just so you know the Silver Glimmer paper is part of the Weekly Deal and it just may be time to stock up!
This is going to be quick! I have some fun friends coming by to stamp in just a few minutes. Here's one of the cards we are going to make.
Stippled Blossoms is one pretty stamp set and for a 2 step stamping set it is very forgiving. I did the Scallop Tag topper punch to make the super cool closure. I don't know who came up with this idea to begin with but I hope you know you are awesome. To add a little more to the card I glittered up the whole stamped panel by inking it with VersaMark and then covering it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. It is really super glittery in real life.
If you would like to see more samples using the Stippled Blossoms stamp set got to the left sidebar of the blog and look in the Categories and way down at the bottom you will see "Stamp Set Stippled Blossoms." My Paper Pumpkin is celebrating its first birthday! Like any newborn there's been some growing pains along the way and also great growth and maturity. I have really noticed it in the past few kits. Changes have been made and the kits are bigger and in my opinion better. Check out the March kit.

I am still playing around with the One Flap Easel card that I shared on the last Fun Fold Friday post. I was preparing a shoebox project to take to a Stampin' Up! demonstrator get toegether and wanted to use a stamp set that did not require any coloring and the Serene Silhouettes set worked perfectly.

Welcome to the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop! This month the theme is Hoppity Hop Hop! I will confess that I was stumped on what to do and then it came to me. I hope you will enjoy the return of the Easter Chicks with a little bit of a disguise.
The Easter Chicks first made their debut in March 2012 and then came back for another visit last March so it is only right that they return again this year.
Do you recognize the bag? It is from February's My Paper Pumpkin box. Love these gift bags and I have to work on not hoarding them.
The words are from the Just Sayin' stamp set and cut out using the Word Bubbles framelits. I used a marker on the Just Sayin' stamp to get the bubble definition and then stamped the "Happy Easter" from the Delightful Dozen stamp set.

How's that for an awkward blog title? Hopefully, the fun fold will make up for it!
1. Card Base:
4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Calypso Coral stock
4" x 5-1/4" Very Vanilla card stock.
2. Flap:
2-3/8" x 4-1/2" scored at 1/2", 2-1/2" Calypso Coral
2-1/4" x 3-7/8" Crisp Cantaloupe card stock
2-1/8" x 3-3/4" Shimmery White card stock.
3. Stamp the flower from the Simply Sketched hostess set on to the Shimmery White card stock in Black Stazon. Color using an Aqua Painter. Layer onto the Crisp Cantaloupe card stock. Tie a bow using Very Vanilla seam binding ribbon.
4. Stamp the sentiment from the Million and One set onto the right side of the Very Vanilla card stock using Black Stazon ink. Make sure that there is enough room for your flap. Place adhesive on the back of the 1/2" Calypso Coral tab and attach it to the back of the Very Vanilla piece. Layer the flower on the Calypso Coral strip, be sure to only apply adhesive to the portion below the score line.
5. Cut out butterflies using the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and position as shown.
