Happy Watercolor in Crisp Cantaloupe

Happy watercolor Crisp Cantaloupe

I am determined to ink up all the images in the stamp sets I have purchased.  I have neglected this image from the Happy Watercolor set in favor of the poppy but today it has its turn.  The image is embossed in White embossing powder on Shimmery White card  stock so it is a little hard to see the pretty little flowers.  The whole feel of this card is very soft and feminine.

It's Clear to Me

Clear Card

Now, you can clearly understand the title of  this post.    I used Window Sheets as the card base for this card.   The card base measures 4" x8".  You can get 4 card bases out of 1 Window sheet.  Classic ink will not dry on the Window sheet so I used White Stazon ink to stamp the image from the Flowering Flourishes set.

The flowers are stamped on the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series paper and punched out using the Pansy punch.

You Make Me Happy Window

It is a pretty rainy, gray morning.   I am not usually inspired by the rain but the Sale-A-Bration stamp set See Ya Later has a perfect stamp for life in the Pacific Northwest.

You're Lovely in Blushing Bride

One of the things I do when I am in a stamping slump is organize.  It helps me feel like I am doing something in preparation for when I am ready to stamp.  One thing that was really in need of organizing was my paper scraps.   I tend to keep lots of little bits and pieces of paper.  I have a page protector full of scraps for every color of card stock that Stampin' Up! sells.   During this purge of scraps I found a card base that was embossed and ready to be made.   It was a great find and starting point.

You'r Lovely in Blushing Bride

This card has a secret, a very little secret, such a little secret that I probably shouldn't even mention it.

You're Lovely Blushing Bride label

The You're Lovely set is a Sale-A-Bration choice.  You can receive it free with a $50 order  until the end of March.

You're Lovely in Blushing Bride sideDo you see the secret?  The front is cut about 2" shorter than the back.  I am not sure what I had in mind to make when I originally did this.  I warned you it was a very little secret.

Happy Watercolor Thanks

Thank you everyone who sent me ideas on  how to jump start my creativity!  Lots of really good ideas. I will definitely be trying your suggestions.  Sometimes having too many choices can be overwhelming so I pulled out the Happy Watercolor  set and some Crumb Cake paper and decided that was what i was going to start with.  Here's what I made.

This card is especially good if you do not like to write a lot.  Why?  Check this out.

The place to write your message is just the small space underneath the flower.   After all doesn't the sentiment say it all?    Hope your day is filled with inspiration and creativity!

For the Birds Thinking of You

I have a  simple card to share with you today.  I have not been feeling very creative lately and honestly it is frustrating.   I will try again tomorrow and hope to have lots of new things to share with you soon.

For the Birds and Hardware

Isn't this a great background?  It is the Hardwood stamp and it is so handsome, perfect for a masculine card.
