Oh What a Night and the Weekly Deals

Last night was the Stampin' Up! Catalog Reveal and oh what a night!  It was a great time and I am so excited about the new catalog.  I am  looking forward to sharing it with you.  One of the best parts of the Reveal for me was getting to spend it with some of the women on my team.

Lots of laughter and excitement pouring over the new catalog.   It is always so much more fun looking over the new catalog with other people who  "get it".   I have a ton of stuff to get done before I can sit down again with my wish list and look at the new catalog.

Lattice Window and the Watercolor Wonder DSP

My stamp room is a room divided.  The lines have been drawn between current and retiring products, what is staying and what needs to go.  I find myself using bits and pieces from both and going through the mental list of all the cards I have meant to make and just haven’t done.  The lattice window card is one of those cards since the Lattice die is retiring.  Mixing a little current with the retiring.

Bright Blossoms and the Last Day of Free Shipping

What a week it has been!  Free Shipping (ends Friday 4/25 ), Typepad issues (the blogging platform I use) and coming home from vacation all contributed to the lack of postings.  Typepad seems to be  more or less back to normal.  The only problem seems to be with the email notification to subscribers.    I will be doing some checking on this and let you know.

In case you haven't heard the Stampin' Up! Retiring Stamps and Accessories list has been released.  Here are links to the Retiring Lists:

*Retiring Stamps (Available until June 4, 2014 or while supplies last)
            **PDF

*Retiring Accessories (Available untilJune 4, 2014 or while supplies last)
            **PDF

This year both the Retiring Stamp Sets and Retiring Accessories are only available while supplies last.  This makes it a little tricky so I am going to apologize in advance if I use a stamp set or accessory that is no longer available. When I wote this post everything I used was still available for purchase.

Bright Blossoms 2

I haven't used the Bright Blossoms set in a while but oh I have had lots of fun with this set.  Here are a few links ( here, here, and here) to past posts that featured the Bright Blossoms set.  You can also scroll down the left side of the blog until you hit Stamp Set Bright Blossom and when you click on that you will be taken to a compilation of posts that feature the Bright Blossoms set.

Remember FREE SHIPPING (sorry to shout) ends today!  This is the perfect time to stock up on your crafting essentials as well as the Retiring Lists!

Retiring Stamps and Accessories and FREE SHIPPING!

Typepad has been a little crazy lately so I am going to keep this short in hopes that I can get this posted.    Here's the link  to the Retiring Stamps list and the Retiring Accessories list.  Remember Free Shipping April 21-25!  The stamps and accessories on the retiring lists are only available while supplies last.  There are some items that have already sold out!  Let me know if you need help.

Stippled Blossoms Happy Birthday

Here's the card I was working on when my craft table ate one of the leaf images in my Stippled Blossoms stamp set.  I ended up using the leaf image from the Summer Silhouettes set to finish the card.

Stippled Blossoms Wisteria Wonder close

On Monday, April 21 Stampin' Up! will be publishing the annual retirement list of stamp sets and accessories.  This year for the first time stamps listed on the retirement list will be available only while supplies last.  Accessories on the list are also only available while supplies last.  This will get a little tricky  with the possibility of things selling out. My advice is if  there is a stamp set or accessory you want that is on the retirement list you need to order it as soon as you can.   I always have mixed feelings about the retirement list. I am always sad to see some things retire and yet that also means there will be lots of new things coming in the new catalog.  Bittersweet for sure.

Lost and Found Stamp

It finally happened.  My mess of a craft table ate one of my stamps.  Here's how it happened. I was happily using my Stippled Blossoms stamp set and making a huge mess.  I stamp on a 6 ft table but it never fails, once I get stamping so much stuff accumalates that I barely have any table surface left.  I was on a roll and not stopping to clean anything up.  It was a mess.

I needed to run some errands so I left the mess and when I came back I knew I had to clean up the table before continuing on.   Once order was restored I realized I was missing one of the leaf images from the Stippled Blossoms set.  Panic set in and I looked everywhere.  Not in the garbage, not in recycling, not in any of the other stamp sets that were on the table.  Simply vanished.   I couldn't think of where else it could possibly be.

I went on and finished up the cards I was making and decided to use a leaf image from the Summer Silhouettes set instead (I will show you that card tomorrow).  I started pulling out the ink pads I needed and look what I found!

Lost and Found Stamp

Now the stamps are all back together and I can 2 Step stamp again.  I wish I could report that I have learned my lesson and am cleaning as I go.  If you could see my table now you would know that I am back to making a mess.

Might as well go a little overboard with the sparkle.  After all we all know every anniversary is earned and needs to be celebrated!

Thank you for stopping by and be sure to continue on the hop!
