Hi There, Hello There and Pictogram Punches

It has been a tough transition this week from vacation mode to real life mode.  I have the house back in order, food in the fridge, and the laundry is done.  It is taking me longer to get back to my regular blogging practice.  I am working on it but that is why my posts are not showing up until later in the day.  Bear with me while I get back into the swing of things.

Hi There Pictogram Pictures

I didn't think I was going to get over the retirement of the Itty Bitty Punch Pack but I am starting to really warm to the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack especially with these super cute flowers from the Pictogram Punches stamp set.  This is a super easy and happy card to make.

Product List

If you notice on the Product List there is something missing.  I also used the Large Polka Dot embossing folder 133739.  I embossed only the top portion  of the card.  I love that the embossing folders can be fed through the Big Shot in either orientation.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. To purchase any of the items I used to make this card just click on the links above and you will be taken to my online store.  Thank you!

Something for Baby

I am a pushover for a stamp set that has matching framelits.  The thought of not having to fussy cut just makes me happy.  That is why it was so strange for me to hesitate in purchasing the Something for Baby stamp set and matching Baby's First Framelits.  Thankfully, I came to my senses quickly and this adorable set and framelits came to live with me in my craft room.

Hey! Something for Baby

This onesie is so cute and it  helped to seal the deal for me.   I love a bow tie on little ones so I had to add one here.  The set comes with a regular tie so I stamped it twice and used the knot ends to make a bow tie.  Check out that cool Coastal Cabana sequin!

Do you see the strip of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper?  I  colored it by sponging on some Coastal Cabana ink.  So fun!

Bloom with Hope and Work of Art

We are back from our trip to Banff.  It was relaxing and a wonderful time away.  The scenery was spectacular and soon I will be sharing my pictures using some awesome new products from  Project Life by Stampin' Up!   Stay tuned for that.

You know, when you come home after a vacation there is always LOTS of things to do to get your household back in order.  I am definitely in that mode right now, lots on my list.

Here's a quick share for you while I tackle the laundry and assorted other glamour jobs.

I still think these little birds in the For the Birds stamp set are so cute.  They are the perfect little image to practice my coloring with Stampin' Blendabilities  markers.

Choose Happiness and Flower Shop

This card looked way better in my head than it does in real life. There is just something about it that isn't quite right.  I have fussed with it a lot and my sharing it with you means I am putting it aside and will stop messing with it.

Bordering Blooms and the Curve

I know, I know  I told you that I was going to move on to another stamp set but I had to share with you this one last card idea.  The Bordering Blooms stamp set is a Photopolymer stamp set.   It is totally clear making it a breeze to line up AND you can manipulate the stamp a bit on the block.  Check out my Bordering Bloom curve.

Bordering Blooms Curve

Isn't that fun?  I was pretty excited when I remembered to try this out.  This stamp is a little wide so it doesn't move a lot but just adding this little curve made me happy.   Here's a link to this card without the curve.

I also used the Calypso Coral Blendabilities which will be available for purchase on August 1.   Hope you enjoyed all the cards using the Bordering Blooms stamp set.  Do you prefer seeing a series like I did with the Bordering Blooms set or a more random selection of stamp sets?  Let me know!  Thanks

Flower Patch and a Fun Fold by the Numbers

I have had requests to share the meaurements for this fun fold card I featured on Friday.

Flower Patch stair step card front

Here are the measurments:
    Card base- 5" x 10-1/2"  Score at 1-1/4".  2-1/2",  4-1/4",6", 8-1/4".

Starting at the first line you scored (1-1/4") fold it in a mountain fold.  The next score line is a valley fold.

     Stair step card directions

Hints: When you are ready to assemble your card be sure that the height does not exceed 4-1/4 high and 5-1/2" wide.  Stamp your sentiment before you try and place your flowers.  I think it is easiest to start at the back and work your way forward.

If you have any other questions please let me know and I will be happy to assist you.

Isn't is such a fun card?  It is a little time consuming to stamp and assemble all the flowers but I think it is worth it.  Here's another view.
