And Even More Bordering Blooms

I know you must be thinking, enough with the Bordering Blooms stamp set.  This will be it for a little while and I will move on to another stamp set.   I just wanted to feature this image again since it hasn't gotten as much love as the others.

Bordering Blooms hey there

It is hard to see in this photo but I used Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder on the Designer Series Paper and then punched out the flowers.   I wanted to add a little sparkle.

Bordering Blooms and Vellum

There's one more stamp in the Bordering Blooms stamp set that i haven't used yet.  This one will make super quick cards since there is no coloring involved.

Bordering Blooms VellumI stamped the image on card stock vellum using Whisper White Craft ink and set it aside to dry.  Once the white craft ink was dry I layered it over Coastal Cabana card stock.   I love how soft it looks.  The new satin ribbon is simply luscious.  It is very easy to tie and adds a luxurious feeling to the card.

Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop... Hot, Hot, Hot!

Blog hop banner

Welcome to the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop!  This month's theme is Hot,Hot,Hot!  This was a tough one for me, so many possibilities!

SDBH hot hot hot

I used the Baby's First onesie die to make the bathing suit.  I tapered the body and cut off the sleeves.

To make the flip flops I used the Mosaic punch.  I cut a 5/8" strip and using the Mosaic punch cut out the base of the flip flop.

SDBH hot,hot,hot slippers

To make the strap, punch out  using the pointed end of the Mosaic punch.  Trim away as shown in the picture.

More from the Bordering Blooms stamp set

Yesterday, I shared these cards on my Facebook page .   We have company and I was in a hurry to go out and play so I did not get the cards  posted here.

Bordering Blooms in Black

I saw some daisies while out on my walk and that is how this card came about.  Are you wondering how I colored the centers of the flowers?  I am sure you thought I used a colored embossing powder but I only used white embossing powder.   Check out the Supply list below.

Product List

I used the Daffodil Delight Blendabilities Markers to color over the white embossing powder.  This works best on dark card stock.   The dark card stock hides the stray marks of ink when coloring.

Here's another version in Crumb Cake.

Bordering Blooms crumb cake

I used the same supplies except for the Crumb Cake card stock (120953).  I love the images in this stamp set and it is so easy to make quick and cute cards.

Click on any of the images in the Product List and you will be directed to my online store.  I appreciate your business and support!

Bordering Blooms and Sweet Taffy
