Texture...It's a Good Thing

This week's deals are all about texture and making an impression!

Indescribable Gift in Cherry Cobbler

I know I said I was moving on from the Indescribable Gift stamp set but I was in the mood to color and decided it was the set to use.

I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink down the side of the card and I even like the image without any color.

Right now I seem to be making all of my cards 4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2".   This fold gives me a little more flexibility when i don't know  what the finished card is going to look like, which seems to be most of the time.

I don't always decorate the inside of my cards but I always like it when I do.  I colored and fussy cut one of the little bunches of buds, stamped a little strip of the floral image in Tuxedo Black ink and layered it on a strip of black card stock.

Nuts About You in February

Earlier I shared with you a calendar that one of my team members, Kerri Gennett made for me. Here is the link to her January page. Here is the calendar page for the month of February.

150122 Feb Kerri's calendar

Kerri used the adorable Nuts About You hostess set.  This set is so cute and would be perfect to make some  Valentine's projects.  Since this is a hostess set the only way you can get it is by using Hostess dollars.  Sale-A-Bration is the perfect time to host a party.  During Sale-A-Bration when your party total reaches $250 or more you will receive an extra $25 in hostess benefits.  You can use your hostess dollars on exclusive hostess sets or on catalog merchandise or a combination of the two!  Lots of flexibility and fun.   Contact me and we will plan your stamping party!

Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop...Sale-A-Brate Stamps

Blog hop header

Welcome to the first Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop of 2015!  Our theme this month is Sale-A-Brate Stamps!  So timely, right?

There are so many awesome products in the Sale-A-Bration catalog it was hard to decide what to use.  What a great problem to have. Finally, I decided to use  Big Day  and the Simply Wonderful stamp sets to make this extra special gift for an extra special friend!  I also used the Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper and the Best Year Ever Accessories pack.  Love the patterns and the colors in this bright and cheery paper.

I made this adorable little bow using the Bow Builder punch in the Occasions catalog.   I added a candy dot to the center of the Calypso Coral button from the Accessories pack.

I made some gift card holders out of the Best Year Ever DSP using the Envelope Punch Board.

Here again, I used a button and ribbon from the Best Year Ever Accessory pack and a little strip of the Best Year Ever DSP.   The ribbon comes in 3 colors; Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, and Coastal Cabana.  It is very soft and easy to tie, which is the only way I would have been able to make that teeny tiny bow.

I hope you enjoyed my project and that you are sold on the products I shared with you!  Remember you get a choice of a free Sale-A-Bration product for evey $50 (before tax & s/h) you spend.

Now it is time for you to hop on over to see France's project.  It is a great one!

Indescribable Gift...One More Time

150112 Indescribable Gift square

Right about now you must be thinking does she have any other sets?  Believe me I do!  I just love this stamp set and I have these new Stampin Blendabilities colors  and well I just didn't want to stop coloring. I  promise that the next samples I share will use a set other than Indescribable Gift.

I used the new Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi Stampin' Blendabilities.  They are shown in the Occasions catalog on page 32 (bottom right).  There are 4 new sets of Blendabilities; Bermuda Bay, Pink Pirouette, Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi.  Yes, they are a must have.

Once I was done coloring the image I inked the entire image with VersaMark ink and then covered it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder and set it with the heat gun.  I used the same technique in this card

FFF Indescribable Gift in Crisp Cantaloupe

I am totally crushing on the Indescribable Gift stamp set in the new Occasions catalog.  It is so pretty and easy to color, a definite must have in my book.

I used the lightest color in the Pink Pirouette Stampin Blendabilities set and then the Calypso Coral Blendies.

This stamp set is called Indescribable Gift and it is so pretty and fun to color with Stampin' Blendabilities.  Are you wondering what color of Blendies I used?  That is another great thing that is in the new Occasions catalog, more Blendabilities!  I used Pink Pirouette and it it is so pretty and is a nice addition to the Blendabilities line.

After I finished coloring I inked the entire image with VersaMark and then covered it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder and heated it.  I love the glittery image.

I couldn't decide if it needed something else so I added a bow.

Still not sure which I like better.  How about you?
