Make this patriotic and masculine gift set, containing a thank you card, a picture frame and a mini scrap album. It is the perfect gift for a soldier,a vet, or perhaps someone who has a loved one in the military. Honor them with a hand-made gift for risking their lives for our freedom. Learn different techniques, like stenciling and heat embossing. Learn how to add a distressed look to your project. Make handmade 3-D stars and add dimensions with sponging and die-cutting. Great for a stamp camp, or as a class project.
How's that for a catchy title? It really should be the Banner Double since I only used 2 banners on today's sample.
This card was heavily influenced by my friend Linda. I did change some things but her card got me started. So yesterday, the Tree Builder punch was used to make clouds and today leaves, that adorable apple and those cute little flowers.
The banner tails were cut using the new Banner Triple punch. I will admit that I never thought I needed a punch to cut out banner tails, after all we have come up with all kinds of hacks and how tos to do this. However, when I used the Banner Triple punch for the first time and saw how easy, how even and quick it was to make my banner tails I was sold! Using this punch just makes it so much easier and that is a good thing.
I may have gotten a little carried away with these little flowers. I think they are so cute and love it with just a dot of Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details in the center.

Did you know that Stampin' Up! supports Ronald McDonald House Charities? Stampin' Up! donates time and money to support Ronald McDonald House Charities. Every year Stampin' Up! creates a stamp set and a portion of the sale of that set goes to Ronald McDonald House Charities. This year the set is Sprinkles of Life and I think I can safely say it is going to generate a lot of money for the charity. The set is adorable!
Sometimes when things are tough it is hard to see the silver lining. Remember that it is there and it might even be a silver glittery lining!
This set has 22 pieces and since it is photopolymer it is very easy to line up. What makes this set even better is that there is a coordinating punch called the Tree Builder. This punch is the best! In this sample I used it to punch the cloud out and the silver lining. In future samples I will be sharing, you will see more of what the punch can do.
What is amazing to me, is that I only used the Sprinkles of Life stamp set! In fact in the 4 samples I made it was the only stamp set I used. It is great to have wonderful images and words all in one set AND that it supports a fantastic cause too!
Here's another great project from Craft Project Central!
If you’re in need of some new packaging ideas, then these projects are for you! There are three different gift packaging ideas in this tutorial, and all three are made with the Fry Box Bigz L Die. The new Bohemian Designer Series Paper is also used. This would make a great product-based class, too.
This fun and useful tutorial was designed by Christy Fulk. Head on over to Craft Project Central and subscribe to the month of June!
Are you getting tired of seeing the You've Got This stamp set? I hope not since I have another sample to share with you today.
I embossed the flower from You've Got This in black embossing powder on the Bohemian Designer Series Paper (DSP) and then did a little fussy cutting. I love the way it turned out.
I also used the Bohemian Borders set to add a fun little border at the bottom. I wanted to introduce the Definitely Dijon color so I could use the yummy 1" Dotted Lace Trim. The trim is so soft and easy to work with.
I am going to try and move onto another stamp set but I cannot make any promises. If you would like your own You've Got This stamp set or any of the other products I used, please go to my online store.
I am so excited to share with you the project I designed for Craft Project Central.
June and the rest of the Summer is a very popular time for weddings. This project will have you ready for all those wonderful events. You will make a gift card holder that also has pages available for the happy couple to include some pictures and memories of their special day. You will also make a pretty box to hold your gift. This would also make a lovely gift for any special occasion when you want to give more than a gift card.

I am patiently (not really) waiting for my first order from the new 2015-16 Stampin'Up! catalog to arrive. I know that it has shipped and with some luck it will be here by the end of the week. Come on little brown truck! In the mean time I have some lovely products from the catalog pre-order that demonstrator were able to do. Yes, being a demonstrator definitely has its perks.
As I mentioned in this post I loooove this set. Here I did a little coloring with an Aqua Painter and the Watermelon Wonder ink refill. I colored on Shimmery White card stock which is a little sparkly and can stand up to a little water.
I used the new 2016-17 In Color Watermelon Wonder. This is probably the easiest of the new In Colors to start with, at least for me. It is such a pretty color and is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
Don't you love the little striped paper? This is the new Envelope Paper which comes in the 2015-17 In Colors and Neutrals. It is a lighter weight than card stock and perfect for making envelopes or use as an accent.
Be sure to stop by tomorrow. I am giving away a 1 month subscription to Craft Project Central! It is easy to enter and you may be the lucky winner! All the details in tomorrow's post.
