Watercolor Wings and the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit

Right about now you must be thinking that I have like 3 stamp sets.  Trust me I have LOTS more.

Watercolor Wings & Mini Treat Bag

You might also think that I only have one package of  DSP(designer series paper) Pretty Petals  and one set of inks.  All of these things are not true.  Promise, some stamp, ink, and paper diversity will be showing up soon.

Watercolor Wings & Mini Treat Bag up

Isn't that fun?  The butterfly is flying to reveal a hidden message!  This card is winging its way to a friend who is recovering from surgery.

Wild About Flowers Re-Do

I was working on stamp club projects and decided to re-do this card to make it a little easier to prep and also to make.

Wild About Flowers club card

The primary  difference is the cut is not at an angle and there is no window sheet in the middle.  I think of this as a bare midriff card.

Wild About Flowers club card inside

Did a little stamping on the inside of the card.  Stamped off the ink so it would be a little lighter and easier to write over.

Christmas in July (the first try)

Every month I participate in a  blog hop called the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop.  There is a theme every month which is both a good thing( I like the challenge)and a not so good thing(it's a challenge).  This month the theme was Christmas in July.  You can go here to go on  the hop.  I had a hard time with the theme.  I made 3 cards before deciding on the one to post and really if I had more time I might have made even more!

Crazy About You white on white Christmas

It is a monochromatic version of the card I ended up sharing on the blog hop. If you are wondering I cut 3 of the "joy"die,  glued and stacked them so it would be more visible.

Not to worry I am not going to subject you to the 2nd try, it has already been gently put out of its misery.

Try Stampin' On Tuesday Challenge #227

As much as I think the picture is so fun and full of potential, I knew I wanted to work on the sketch.

Wild About Flowers with window

I used a window sheet as the middle panel and added a sentiment to show through.
