Spooky Saturday: I See You

Today is the first of my Spooky Saturday posts.  Lots of fun and spooky ideas to share with you. Today's project was inspired by a stop at the grocery store.  There was a large display of different Halloween candies and I picked up a few different ones and I came up with this idea.

Wild About Flowers in Perfect Plum

Here's  another card that my Sunday Stampers hostess club made yesterday.

Wild About Flower Perfect Plum

Yes, it is another sample using the Wild About Flowers stamp set.  I think it is safe to say that it is my favorite or at least in the top 5 stamp sets from the Stampin' Up! Annual catalog.   The card stock  and ink I used here is Perfect Plum.  When I first started using Stampin' Up! products, oh so many years ago this was one of my favorite colors.   Perfect Plum and Pale Plum (long retired) were my go to color combination.   Definitely showing my Stampin' Up! age with that combination.

Simple Sunday: Watercolor Wings

We just got back from a week long visit to see our son.  He just bought his first condo and we went to help him get settled in.  It was a lot of work but we accomplished what we needed to do.   I have a stamp club coming in a few minutes so this is going to be quick.

This is the first time I used the the new Fluttering embossing folder.  All I can say is Love it!  Okay, I best be posting this as I can hear the club members at the door.  Hope you are having a fabulous Sunday!

Vintage Leaves Bohemian DSP

Here is the last card I made using the 4-1/4" x 9" Blackberry Bliss card bases.  You can see the other two cards I made here and here.

Vintage Leaves Bohemian DSP

Basically, I just turned the card I shared yesterday from a portrait style card to a landscape card.   I used the beautiful leaf  images from the Vintage Leaves set in somewhat non-traditional colors to coordinate with the Bohemian DSP.

Vintage Leaves Bohemian DSP side

I used the leaf to act as a closure for the card.  The only trick is to remember to put the Stampin' Dimensional in the right spot so the flap can easily tuck under the leaf.

This was a fun challenge for me.  Totally enjoyed finding different ways to use the 4-1/4" x  9" card base.  I am definitely going to do this again.   We are headed out to explore a new little city.  Have a fabulous day!

You've Got This Bohemian DSP

Remember this card that I posted on Sunday?  I mentioned that I was using up Blackberry Bliss card bases (4-1/4" x 9") and that I made 2 other cards.  This is card #2.

You've Got This Bohemian DSP

This was the original card that I had cut the bases for.  Doesn't it look very different than the card I posted earlier?

You've Got This Bohemian DSP side

The sentiment is what keeps the card closed.  Did you notice the thick Bermuda Bay Baker's twine?

I have one more card to share with you using the same Blackberry Bliss card stock and it will be on the blog tomorrow.

Feel Goods and the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits

I was without internet this morning and have been on the go all day.  My fitbit says I have gone 18,815 steps so far today.  I am finally getting the chance to sit down and work on my blog post for the day (19 days in a row and counting!).  This is going to be a quick post  since we are leaving for dinner in just a few minutes.

Feel Goods frame

This card is similar to this one that I posted earlier.  This time I used the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits to make the frame.

I can see a lot of uses for this frame.  I love how it shows off the sentiment.  Another quick and easy card for you.  Hopefully, I won't have any internet difficulties tomorrow and I will be able to post earlier in the day.
