TSOT #250 and Another Sneak Peek
December 22, 2015
I have been keeping my head down and working through my long Christmas list of things to do. I am almost done. I still have a few presents to wrap and more cards to write but I am getting close. Tomorrow I will be spending some quality time at the Post Office. I am bringing a book with me, I know the line will be long!
Here is the Try Stampin' On Tuesday Sketch Challenge #250!
I love this sketch! So many possibilities. I decided to use some new products from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog.
Yes, I love the Botanical Blooms stamp set and the Botanical Builder Framelits! I love the tropical vibe of the stamp set.
The flower was cut in Watermelon Wonder and the leaves in Always Artichoke using the Botanical Builder Framelits. The Designer Series Paper is Birthday Bouquet and this pack contains truly lovely patterns and colors. The sentiment is from the You're So Lovely set.
I have to head back to my Christmas cards. I am definitely starting earlier next year. I am going to take a month off from Christmas cards but am formulating a plan to start making them starting in February. Anyone with me?
Make Today Ridiculously Amazing!
December 17, 2015
I feel like I am running around with my hair on fire! Christmas is a week away and I am no way ready or even close. How are you doing? I hope you are kicking back and enjoying the season. I am giving myself until Tuesday. What does this have to do with today's card? I am sharing with you one of my stamp club projects. It is a desk calendar/post it note easel card. The quote is from the Amazing Birthday set and it is something I am trying to embrace as I scurry around trying to get things done.
Product List
Hope you have an amazing day and wish me luck in tackling my list for the day! P.S. the Happy Haunting DSP is actually only $7.70 it is on the Year End Sale! You can check out the other things on the Year End Sale here.

December 14, 2015
Welcome to the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop for December! This month our theme is Metallics!
We are so lucky that there is so many metallic options to choose from in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog and the Holiday catalog. In my sample I am using products from both of those catalog and even from the upcoming Occasions catalog.
From the Annual Catalog I used:
Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog
From the Holiday Catalog I used:
Product List From the upcoming Occasions Catalog (starting January 5th) I used the Botanical Builders Framelits Dies. This is one big die set with 14 pieces. Lots of ways to mix and match and create your own flowers and leaves.
Now head on over to France's blog! I know she has something beautiful to share with you!

Occasions Catalog Sneak Peek: Bloomin' Heart Thinlits
December 10, 2015
I am back with another sneak peek from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog. One of the product suites is called Love Blossoms. It is a beautiful collection of products. The Bloomin' Heart thinlits will be perfect for Valentine's Day, weddings, birthdays and anniversaries. Really it works for so many different occasions and is very versatile.
The Bloomin' Heart Thinlits is just gorgeous. I cut it out of the new Blushing Bride Glimmer paper. Photos do not capture how pretty the new glimmer paper is.
Here's what I used:
Bloomin' Heart Thinlits, Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper, Blushing Bride CS, Silver Foil, Whisper White cs, Card Stock Vellum, Softly Falling Embossing folder, Whisper White seam binding ribbon, and Pearls.
The Softly Falling Embossing embossing folder has carried over from the Holiday catalog and is in the Occasions catalog. Does the embossing look a little different? Well, I may or may not have done that intentionally.
If you are not currently working with a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like a copy of the upcoming Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs, please contact me and I will get one out to you!
Try Stampin' on Tuesday (TSOT) Challenge # 248 and a Sneak Peek!
December 08, 2015
It is time for another Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge! Every week there is a new challenge on the Try Stampin' on Tuesday blog but the members of the design team alternate weeks and this is my week to play along! Here's TSOT Sketch # 248.
Crystal designed this sketch and I love it! So many possibilities! I know I will be using this sketch again soon.
I couldn't resist using some new items from the upcoming Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs. Let me just say that these 2 catalogs are totally yummy! I shared another sneak peek here and more will be coming.
This stamp set is called Flowering Fields and is a Sale-A-Bration choice. If you are unfamiliar with Sale-A-Bration it is a Stampn' Up! promotion January 5th -March 31 2016. You get to choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration item for every $50 (US) you spend(before shipping and tax). It is the best time to be a hostess, customer or SU Demonstrator!
See that sweet little bow? That little cutie is on a paper clip and part of the Love Blossoms Embellishment kit. When I first saw this set, Flowering Fields I was pretty neutral on it, I thought it was cute but didn't have to have it. After playing with it, I am sold! I love simple and clean designs and this stamp set is perfect for that kind of projects. Coloring is quick and easy and the images are strong enough to stand on their own. You will be seeing a lot more of this set in the coming months.
Are you wondering what patterned paper I used? This is the front and back of one of the designs from the Love Blossoms DSP stack. This is a 40 sheet 6" x 6" paper stack that has 4 each of 12 double sided designs. It was hard for me to choose which design to use and then really hard to cut it! I am trying to get over my "it's so pretty I don't want to cut it" mentality. Am I the only one who suffers from this kind of thinking? I also stamped another image inside of the card, which you can see peeking out in the picture above.
I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek and will join in the TSOT challenge #248!
Wrap it Up...More Square Pillow Box ideas
December 07, 2015
Just a quick post to share another idea using the Square Pillow Box framelit.
This was quick to make and I love the vellum window covering! The vellum is from the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum stack and it is filled with black and gold vellum goodness. So elegant!
The "holly" leaves are from the Vintage Leaves stamp set with Real Red Enamel Dots.
Here's a complete list of what i used.

Square Pillow Box and the Winter Wonderland DSP
December 04, 2015
I think it is safe to say that I love packaging. Back in the day, I would take apart boxes, bags to use as patterns. I would trace them on to paper and then cut them out and score them. Things are so much easier now that we have die cutting machines like the Big Shot. Hidden in the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog on page 41 is the The Square Pillow Box Thinlits Die. I love this box. It is quite big, easy to assemble, and self closing. It is a handy box to have in your collection.
Here it is all dressed up with the Winter Wonderland DSP and Vellum. See the cute little glittery snowflake? That is one of the dies included in the Square Pillow Box Thinlits. You can click here to see all 8 pieces included in the Square Pillow Box thinlits.
Product List
The Square Pillow Box thinlits die is on the Retiring list so be sure to order it before it's gone! I will be sharing with you more ideas on how to use this versatile and most useful box!
A Little Sneak Peek and a Re-Do
December 02, 2015
Previously I shared with you the card I made for the Try Stampin' On Tuesday challenge #246. You can see the card here. I wanted to do a little re-do of the card using a stamp from the Going Global stamp set that will be debuting in the Occasion Catalog(January 5, 2016).
I used the globe image and embossed on a piece of the yummy paper in the Going Places DSP Stack. Let me just say that the Going Places DSP Stack is a favorite of mine and I am already thinking I need to get another stack.
Product List
*Since the Going Global stamp set and Going Places DSP Stack are not listed in the supplies since they are not currently available.
When I saw that the Gold Glimmer Sheets were on the Weekly Deal I decided I needed to make another card in gold.
I used the Gold Glimmer paper for the "peace" and the top of the ornament. The only other changes I made was to substitute Mossy Meadow card stock for the Pear Pizzaz and to use gold embossing powder and gold cord.
Here are all the items on the Weekly Deals for December 1-7. These items are available while supplies last.
If you need anything to complete your Christmas projects please got to my online store or contact me and I would be happy to help you.
