Botanical Gardens Suite
February 17, 2016
I hate to keep repeating myself but I love the Botanical Gardens suite in the Occasions catalog. Hawaii is where I grew up and one of the places I call home, so all the images just speak to me. Yes, stamps, papers and dies talk to me, mostly they say things like "buy me" or "we want to live with you" and since I am a good listener I do what I am told.
I knew I wanted to make a card that looked like a haku lei. If you don't know what a haku lei is, google it and be prepared to be totally amazed and well, just do it.
It was fun creating this card and trying to achieve the look of the lei. There is a strip of black card stock between the 2 panels that serves as a the base on which the flowers are arranged.
