Jar of Love Create with Connie and Mary #CCMC419
August 10, 2016
It is Thursday and time for the Create with Connie and Mary Challenge! This week it is a fun sketch challenge.
Does this sketch scare you just a little? It did me. The first thing I had to decide on was the 4 strips of paper. SU!'s DSP coordinate really well together so it wasn't too difficult to find 4 designs to use together. The DSP I used is from the A Little Foxy DSP stack. The stack has 24 designs to choose from and it was fun mixing and matching and deciding on which 4 to use.
The next decision was what stamp set to use? I decided on one of my very favorite sets, Jar of Love. It was easy to come up with the color scheme based on the DSP and then I set on the fun task of flower arranging. I added the doily behind the jar to break up all that pattern and help the both the flowers and the DSP stand out a bit more.
I hope you will join in the challenge and be sure to check out all the awesome creations by the design team. It is always so fun to see how everyone interprets the challenge. Thanks for stopping by!
Love how you arranged the panels of DSP...they were definitely scary working with them this week! Awesome card! Great job with the sketch.
