Flourish Thinlits and the Create with Connie and Mary Challenge #CCMC426
September 29, 2016
Are you ready to see the color combination for the Create with Connie and Mary Challenge # 426? It was a toughie but I think I say that everytime!
This is a very handsome color combination. I tried a bunch of different ideas and finally settled on using a favorite card template and the Flourish Thinlits die.
Are you wondering how this card opens?
The card slips out the side of the DSP sleeve. The only stamping I did on the card was the little sentiment from the Thoughtful Banners set.
Be sure to check out how the other designers used the colors. From the preview I saw, I can tell you that they did an incredible job. I would love to see you join in the challenge as well. Please go to the Create with Connie and Mary blog for all the details on how to join in the challenge!
These colors are far from the elegant category in my mind, but you managed to take them there, Sharon! I am amazed at how beautiful they look in a floral motif! Well done!

So striking! What caught my eye first was the DSP. Your placement of all the colors and elements is superb! Well done!

Thanks Barb! It was a struggle but when all else fails I pull out those framelits and they seem to make everything better!

Thanks Jenny! The framelits are my go to when I cannot figure out what to do with the color combinations we are given! Love your cards too

Thanks Jennifer! I do love those Paper stacks. In fact they are usually the first thing I order so I can be sure to have some patterned paper in the new colors
