Birthday Blooms and Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #315
March 28, 2017
Ready for a fun challenge? This sketch for the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #315 is a great one. So many different fun possibilities. I hope you will give it a try.
Optional theme: 3 different patterns
This image from the Birthday Blooms stamp set is one of my favorite to color. In fact this stamp set is one of my favorites period because it has both beautiful images and great sentiments. After my last post I did double check and this stamp set is indeed a current one and available to purchase. The pretty little bow is made from the Sale-A-Bration 3/8" Metallic Ribbon pack. It is very easy to tie and adds just a bit of shine to any project. I did use one retired item and here's why. When I saw the sketch I immediately thought of flowers and the 2 smaller circles as butterflies. The current butterfly punch I have is a bit too big so I pulled out the Beautiful Wings Embosslit. This Embosslit is long retired but I kept it because it has 5 sizes of butterflies. I cut out the smallest butterfly from card stock vellum and colored the backs with markers and they were just right for this card.
