Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop...Color Challenge

Blog hop header

Welcome to the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop!  The theme for this month is a color challenge!  Ready for the colors?  Fresh Fig, Tranquil Tide, and Very Vanilla.   Yummy colors right?

I decided to use one of my favorite sets from the Stampin' Up! Annual catalog which was released, way back in June! Doesn't  it seem so much longer ago than that?

Tranquil Tulips is still one of my favorite hostess sets.  I think it looks quite elegant in this color combination.  If you are wondering why it looks a little grainy it is because it is covered in Dazzling Diamonds glitter and Clear embossing powder.  It is very sparkly!

I used the Diagonal Stripe background stamp to create my own DSP (designer series paper).  Love the look of the Fresh Fig ink on the Fresh Fig card stock.

Gorgeous card! Did you mix the clear embossing powder and the glitter before applying to the card? Just stunning!

Thank you Barbara. I make a mix which I call Glittery Goodness. I mix Clear Embossing Powder and Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I start with a 1 to 1 mix and go from there.
