Wisteria Wonder and Soft Sky for the Create with Connie and Mary Challenge #508
May 03, 2018
Time for the Create with Connie and Mary Challenge. This week it is a sketch challenge, which means it was the perfect time to play with colors that will soon be retiring from the Stampin' Up! color collections.
I used Soft Sky, Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant and Pink Pirouette which are all colors that are retiring. I also used Early Espresso which is not retiring. I really like this combination of colors.
I used the branch from the Seasonal Layers thinlits and also the flowers. The sweet little birds are from the Birds and Blooms thinlits. I just realized that I used the same thinlit for last week's challenge. I promise I won't use it on next week's sketch.
Are you wondering what die I used to create the layer behind the panels? If you look really closely you can see a little irregularity along the bottom edge. I used the Layering Squares framelits and patched 3 of the squares together to create this rectangle.
I hope you will play along with the challenge. Go to the Create with Connie and Mary Challenge blog and while you are there be sure to checkout what the other designers created.
If you like this combination of colors be sure to order them soon. Once the current inventory is depleted these colors will be gone.
This is lovely, and oh, so serene.

Thank you Ann! It was inspired by the pretty pink camellias that are blooming outside my window. I really appreciate you stopping by and leaving me a comment!
