Signs of Santa for the Create with Connie & Mary Challenge

It is time for the Thursday Create with Connie & Mary Challenge! This week we are challenged to create a project using this sketch. CCMC534

I decided i wanted to use the adorable Santa's Workshop Specialty DSP.  This paper is so cute and the flocked details are so fun.

Not only did I use the DSP for the background piece but I also used it for the elf and presents.  Both of these images were cut from one of the sheets of paper.  The elf was cut out using one of the dies from the Santa's Signpost Framelits.  The stack of presents were hand cut.  Luckily it is an easy image to cut out!  I have gotten quite lazy about fussy cutting now that so many of our images have dies or punches.   I also used the Santa's Workshop Enamel Shapes for the 2 little green circle accents.   The enamel shapes package contains  lots of great shapes from trees to bows.  The only product I use that isn't a part of the Santa's Workshop Suite is the sentiment.  I used a sentiment from the  Making Christmas Brights stamp set.  The sentiment just seemed to go with the image.

So, what do you think?  Are you ready to join in the challenge?  You can go to the Create with Connie & Mary blog  ane get all the details on the challenge.  While you are there be sure to checkout what the rest of the design team created.
