Daisy Lane for Festive Friday Challenge #FF0036

June is flying by and soon we will be celebrating official start of summer on June 21 and the 4th of July.  These are the themes for the Festive Friday Challenge #FF0036!

FF0036

I chose to focus on the 4th of July aka Independence Day.  In the USA we celebrate the 4th in lots of different ways from picnics and fireworks to parades and ceremonies.  However you celebrate, I think the patriotic colors red, white &  blue are definitely part of the 4th of July.

I used the new Daisy Lane bundle for my card.  The new Medium Daisy punch is a great new addition and I love the smaller size.

The "celebrate" is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set and is the perfect size for this layout.  The stamp set has 32 sentiments and covers a wide range of occasions and i consider it a must have in my collection.  The little enamel star is from a long retired embellishment pack.  I couldn't find a red, white or blue star so I colored over a Pool Party star with a Dark Night of Navy Stampin' Blend marker.  The striped DSP is from the Come Sail Away DSP pack.

I hope you will stamp along with this challenge.  You can go to the Festive Friday blog for all the details on how you can play along.  I would love to see what you create for #FFF0036.

I just love this card, Sharon! Those little daisies are perfectly patriotic in those colors paired with the striped paper. So fun!

This is just what I was looking for! Love something to give people for the 4th of July. I like to give cards to people who have to work on the holiday, etc.
