Halloween is over and time for me to get serious about Christmas cards. Used the Create with Connie & Mary Challenge sketch #CCMC586 for today's card.
I had lots of ideas on what products to use. Decided on using the gorgeous Feels Like Frost DSP as the focal point.
The problem with the Feels Like Frost DSP is that both side of the paper are beautiful making it hard to make a decision on what side to use. Fortunately you get 4 of each 12 designs. The photographic images are stunning. You really do not need to do very much to create beautiful cards.
The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set and the sweet snowflakes are from the Christmas Layers dies. The stamp set and the dies are available as a bundle, which saves you 10%. The gorgeous ribbon is the Seaside Spray 1/4" Metallic Ribbon available in the Holiday catalog. The ribbon is so very pretty and easy to tie.
Whenever I use a dark card stock for the card base I add a piece of Whisper White or Very Vanilla to the inside of the card. I had some scrap pieces of the Feels Like Frost DSP leftover so I cut more snowflakes using the Christmas Layers Dies. Now the inside of the card is dressed up and ready to be written in and sent.
Be sure to check out what the rest of the Create with Connie & Mary design team created for the challenge. If you are wondering about all the products used to make this card, I have listed them below my signature. All the products link up to my store.
