Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop...Something for Everything
January 07, 2020
Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop! We are all fans of this monthly crafting kit and want to share with you our enthusiasm for this box of fun and creativity. The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use this December Paper Pumpkin kit: Something for Everything
I used primarily what was provided in the Paper Pumpkin kit except for the Stitched Shapes dies, Old Olive and Shaded Spruce card stock.. I wanted a wreath shape so I used the largest stitched circle die (#4) with the #2 (#1 being the smallest stitched circle die) centered in the middle and cut a 3-1/2" square piece of Old Olive card stock. Behind the wreath I put a Shaded Spruce circle I cut using the #3 stitched Shape circle die.
I used 1 of the flower and berry gold foil stickers, 1 large flower, 3 small flowers, 5 of the leaves, and one of the long labels. The stamp set in this kit is a great basic. It has 13 sentiments that cover a wide array of occasions. Definitely a keeper and one that will be used a lot.
This card is simple but it has a little secret.
It is also a gift card holder! This is one of the easiest gift card holders you can make. I measured 3-1/2" from the top of the card and cut a slit from the fold to the front edge. I glued down the bottom and front edge of the card, creating a pocket to insert a gift card.
I stamped the sentiment and attached the remaining parts of the gold foil sticker and one more flower to the inside. I love it that the gift card coordinates so well with the colors of the card and flower stickers.
