Under My Umbrella Note
March 18, 2020
How are you? Hope you are doing well. It is an interesting time for sure. I have been spending lots of time in my craft room and it has been a comfort to me to focus on something other than the news. I hope you too have found things to do that bring you comfort and a sense of calm.
I love these umbrellas and think gingham umbrellas should definitely be a thing. I wanted to make a bright and happy card to send to friends and family. I hope it will cheer them up and let them know they are loved. I used the Under My Umbrella bundle to stamp and then punch out the umbrella and the handle. I used the Brights 6" x 6" DSP in Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, and Gorgeous Grape. The umbrellas are mounted on the Stitched So Sweetly stitched rectangle die.
The sentiment is from the A Little Lace stamp set and is perfect. The little flowers were cut using the Sending Flowers Dies in Whisper White cardstock. The little rhinestones in the center of the flowers were colored using Stampin' Blends to coordinate with the colors of the umbrella.
Take care good care and please let me know if I can be of assistance.
