Everything Essential Halloween
August 17, 2020
Have you checked out the Everything Essential bundle? Why do I think it is a great bundle? I am glad you asked, maybe you didn't ask but humor me. I don't send a ton of Halloween cards so I decided that whatever I buy for Halloween also has to have images that work for other occasions, Everything Essential meets that criteria. The set includes fun Halloween, cute Christmas and sweet Valentines/anniversary images! The stamps and the punch make quick and easy gift tags, treat bag tags, and cards. Versatility is what I was looking for and this bundle meets that requirement beautifully!
Today's card is not a quick and easy one. It is not difficult just will take you more than a few minutes to make. Tomorrow I will show you quick and easy ideas for the Everything Essential bundle.
You know I like the 3 things in a row layout and the Essential Tag makes that easy to do. Here I have 3 tags and 2 of the images are from the Everything Essential stamp set and the third (sentiment) is from the Little Treats stamp set. Quick and easy coloring and sponging with Memento Tuxedo Black pad, makes things a little spookier. The fabulous Black Glitter bows were cut using the Wreath Builder dies. You know I love ribbon bows but when I'm trying to keep things flat, the bows you can make using the Wreath Builder dies are pretty perfect.
The spiders were created using the Little Treat Box dies. Paper spiders are about what I can handle. The die cuts out the spider and embosses a cool swirly design on them, all at the same time. The "boo!" was cut from Black Glitter paper using the Playful Alphabet dies. The Pumpkin Pie cardstock was embossed using the Old World Paper 3D folder. Love the texture and is much easier than me trying to recreate the look of old paper.
I hope you will consider the Everything Essential bundle. It is a great choice for its versatility, simplicity, and value.
